  1. Definitely a buyer's market for vehicles now. Been that way for the past 4 years, since covid and economic turn down. Then along comes cheaper & better BEVs hitting the market with their own little price war. Been peeking locally on FB Marketplace, as I do, and locally, so many bargains on vehicles, and some really low prices on the ICEVs listed. Maybe jumping ship to a new BEV before the market completely collapses in 2nd hand ICEV sales. Quite a few seem to be ready to upgrade their BEVs also, as surprising numbers of 2022/2023s models on sale. Great time to be in the market for a new car. Not so good if selling an old one. Oh well, sh!t happens
  2. Unless doing something illegal, all you're paying that agent for, is to jump the Q at Imm office. I can sit there reading the internet on my phone for an hour or less, and pay myself 5k baht & up. It might be different if I didn't have to be there at all, but since you do, and I've already done everything else, why would I pay an agent 5k baht / $150 USD, or more, just to jump the Q ?
  3. Got to love ... "just use an agent" advice given on the forum. She really screwed herself & agency, maybe. That's going to cost a few baht to disappear. Hopefully not, and they get shut down, though doubtful. Do what ever you want, but don't hit the news.
  4. Speed kills ... even at 90 kph, a rear blow out should be easy enough to control. You might lose it & crash, bur rolling over, not once but a few times Oh well, lesson learned, a bit late. R I P
  5. WW 3 will never happen Western world, most of world, already ruled by fascist hitlers. The sky is always falling, if you fall for the BS. They already got us buying water, next they'll charge you for the air you breathe, although with the carbon tax, aren't they doing that already. Can't imagine living under their oppression, and amazed I lasted as long as I did. Thailand being a breath of fresh air ... cough couch, a couple months a year
  6. Not sure why 2 folks think that is sad. What I find sad, is people staying in relationships they're not happy in. Why I 'had' 2 live in GF, and now on wife #4. If not happy, I or they will be moving on. 18+ yrs with #4, so a reckon she's a keeper. None of the others lasted 2 year.
  7. As long as we're getting 8-10 yrs or lifetime warranties, the tech advances & price depreciation really doesn't matter much. Especially if only paying 700k or less. You still have very usable vehicle if battery & motor life are even close to expectations, and in 8-10 yrs, they'll all be worth pocket change anyway. And if you're buying one of the higher spec'd, higher end EV's, do you really care how much it will cost to replace, if you going to anyway. If I'm still around in 6 more year, when warranty expires, or if they come out with a reasonably priced van or pick up, that I can turn into a camper, then I'll keep the present MG ZS for local, and maybe pick up a new toy for playing nomadic, self contained tourist playing. I really do need a new project, hobby
  8. A slight bump in the exchange rate, in our favor. Losing side crying about how unfair the election was, and how we're all doomed, again
  9. Another fine example and reason not to buy an ICEV, when this PHEV is available. Better spec'd & priced than so many legacy models.
  10. Yea, I think so, as they are really nice, and well spec'd.
  11. So it's not so much that you don't trust technology, you simply don't understand it, or know how to use it. Not an Apple fan myself, and if you knew more about Apple, you may not have bought it. They have a small market share for a reason. YouTube will teach you anything you need to know. Including how to use your phone.
  12. Yes, must suck being worth only 10s or millions. One I replied to, seems to think, they are poor, and can't afford private security
  13. I don't, as there is no lie for predators of society. Anyone is allowed to be an idiot, but prey on people, sorry, no, not sorry ... you don't deserve to be walking among us.
  14. I must be bored, finally read the OP, after ignoring yet another silly topic asking personal questions. Stage 1, but no desire to buy her anything 😎 When and if I ever see stage 1 dissipating, I leave or just throw the bi-atch out. NEXT
  15. Not really concerned with their punishment, more about ridding them from society. Total waste of money & resources keeping them alive for 10-20-30-40-50 yrs. All for prisons and death penalty for that reason. Rarely does it rehabilitate or stop crime, obviously, as the system in USA now is simply a revolving, money making door. House them for as long as possible in private facilities, make money, let 'em out, rinse & repeat. Actually more in favor of a penal colony. Some hell hole island, and just drop them off, and they are on their own. That would be a crime deterrent. F'em all. If you can't play nice, you're not allowed on the playground
  16. Despite boasting a combined net worth of £48 million, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wealth is dwarfed by that of their Hollywood pals.
  17. United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 3) If it involves money for products or services, it can be regulated ...
  18. I'll guess that's rhetorical, or you need to read up about on 'his' family, present & past. Not a family I'd want to belong to, IMHO ... well, except for their finances, which Meghan & Harry don't need
  19. The attack was pretty far East, as NE Chonburi does stretch over pretty far East
  20. Doesn't work that way with solar, in my eyes. You would have to buy what you need, at least 100g, and if you get 150g, then the 50g is 'excess', and goes toward you not need to buy 50g from another vendor. We had to spend what we spent, to get the minimum needed to run the house. As stated more than a few times, on crap days, it takes all day, to top the batteries back up, and that's being very conservative with use. Our least production & consumptions day was only about 10 & 10kWh. Of course on a good day, we've hit 50kwh. Don't think the house itself has ever used more than 30kWh. We have to pay for the ability to get 10kwh a day. That we get 5X that on some days, is a plus. Contracted for the house only, so anything over 10 or even 30kwh a day, is 'excess'. That all goes to the EVs. Crappy day today, and solar barely providing enough for the house. Total overcast, but thins a bit, enough anyway, so taking & replacing from the ESS. Could probably get away with charging the E-MC, but doesn't really need now, and I wait till it gets down to ~30%, since not LFP chemistry. That's only about 2kWh to bring it back to 100%. Today's ....
  21. Kudos to her & husband for getting as far away from that family as possible. Seem like some horrible people IMHO Hopefully raise the family away from the press, as he knows how negative that can be. "says a prominent royal expert" ...
  22. Same ... 99% of the time, mine is a GPS device & camera, that happens to make phone calls. I get 10 free gigs of fast internet & 100 free mins of calls a month, which will carry over 1 month if unused. My balance after running for 2 months. Wife uses the phone a bit, since I get free calls, and she doesn't. Phone is basically for emergencies, which, I don't seem to have them either. I use it occasionally, to find the wife in the store/mall Used 1.3 gb & 31 mins
  23. Open a TH bank account, I use BBL (BkkBank). They give you as slip of paper with routing # to your account. Contact SS via Manila and provide info. It's that simple.
  24. You're joking right ? Well, I guess you could just go buy a map, although, good luck finding one. I don't think you realize how ridiculous you sound. A map usually won't tell you which streets are one way, or there is not left or right turn at that intersection. I use to drive around in circles quite a bit in Bangkok, using a map, before Gmaps. Use Gmaps or not, but the route is about the same. I find it much easier to use that technology. UP2U of course.
  25. In my world, if I pay for something, and get more than I need, when purchased, that fall under 'free' for me, I contract a baker, I need at least 12 donuts everyday. Baker says we have extra, here's 18 donuts. I wanted and paid for 12, I get 18. That's 6 free donuts in my world. I pay for a solar system, and want, need 25-30 kWh a day. I get 50 kWh a day, that saves me spending money from PEA or at the CS for 20 kWh a day, meaning I just got 20 free kWh.
