  1. I'll never condone violence, unless it's an 'eye for an eye' situation, and only involving the principles affected, or family & friends of, and consider it their right.
  2. I love that snippet of the 'border czar'
  3. Worked for Biden in 2020, before his appointment.
  4. 4 times in 17 years, may be a bit of overkill. Think the new recommendation is every 10 years, if an all clear, or a polyp or 2 are removed. Also had mine done at Chula, and Q was about 9 months, so paid extra for off hours appointment. Still cheaper than most places, especially private, which charge the same for one of, instead of both done at same time.
  5. She went from some wanting to replace her as biden's VP running mate, to the MSM darling, and savoir of the republic. It's like that song you hear, and hate it every time they play it on the radio, then down the line, you catch yourself humming ... WTF Years of criticizing her embarrassing performance as a politician ... but now the MSM darling ... too funny
  6. Talk about an AI created candidate for president. This quote from a RTnew op-ed describes it perfectly ... IMHO ... "Mark your calendar, ladies and gentlemen, Kamala Harris has done something extraordinary. She has become the only candidate in half a century to become the presidential nominee without winning a single primary vote. Biden’s vice got enough delegate votes in the virtual roll call process to become the official Democratic nominee. Interesting how not winning votes has had an uncanny way of getting this severely unqualified woman one cackle closer to the Oval Office. But the shock and awe does not stop there, so be advised to have a seat. The absolutely, positively 100% legitimate corporate media monstrosity with blood-soaked hand to its heart reports: Harris is now more popular than Joe Biden or Donald Trump have been at any point in the 2024 election cycle." source of, if interested (doubtful)
  7. Seems harris is scared to debate if Fox news moderates. Questions won't be as soft balled as a CNN debate. Go figure ... there may be no debates at all, although to honest, none really is needed.
  8. So Missouri allows people to change the sex on the driver's license ... That certainly could complicate things for gyms and other businesses. If I had a business, I think I'd hang a sign. Only 'birth certificates' to be used as ID Along with designating certain areas for people 'with penises' or 'without penises', not longer using 'male' / 'female' designations The world is getting sillier by the day. As stated, a boycott by customers will sort it quickly. Although the business would probably be sued for discrimination. Hence the problem with allowing this silliness, of people picking their sex.
  9. Many people mistakenly think police can charge people or businesses of a crime, when not enough evidence to show/prove a crime, or falls under civil law and not criminal law. AN or the news, and or news of social media reports of complaints, as a source ... that's laughable.
  10. Actually they are, and when I repeat myself 2 or 3X, and still get the blank stare. Then look to the wife, and she simple repeats the exact same thing, and it gets written down. One does have to wonder. As I stated, another person will understand the exact same, first time spoken. No need to repeat.
  11. So you say, and those 'reports' would be where ???
  12. They do, they simply don't own up to it. Need to kill animals to have a good crop harvest. Harvest = killing plants or what ever they are eating. Eating fruits & veggies is equivalent to performing abortions on that species. You must kill to live, whether animal and or plant based diet. To think other wise is simply denial of the facts. On topic, if people want to self mutilate themselves, UP2them. Have you seen some of the piercings & tattoos people get. Not as extreme but just as silly.
  13. Never used a condom (tried once, no thanks) and left the contraceptive use up to the female. Got snipped around 40 yrs old, realizing at that age, no real desire to have children, or a viable partner to have and raise them with. So raising the village orphan after retirement was quite the pleasant surprise. Playing the single parent for a good part of that time was quite easy, though sure being retired made it so.
  14. Labels .. oh please I can't think of one that I haven't been called. When comparing, most contradictory, depending who's delivery. Been called ... ... homophobe ... faggot/gay/queer/homo ... idiot ... genius ... bigot ... nig ger lover ... you get the idea. When someone uses a label to describe me, especially if incorrect, tells me everything I need to know about them. People start using labels, I start losing respect for them, really quick. Insecure people talk about people. Happy people are to busy enjoying life
  15. Same, and get our blueberries ฿155 yesterday up from 139, couple weeks ago. We get their strawberries also. @Lorry this link may have info you want. Index #s further down from techie stuff.
  16. No, that's silly. There job sucks, usually. Especially now, as everything they do is scrutinized. Known too many days past, family especially & friends that served as PoPo. Have at least 1 nephew here that is PoPo. Also been at the hands of A-hole cops, and very few are in reality. My experience anyway.
  17. Anyone selling the labeled (black) 56L linked, the one we own, is selling old stock, according to Electrolux. OP not interested in countertop units anyway. I like them, since no bending over involved, though does eat up some counter space, along with all the other crap / appliances. Never enough counter surface area, and we have a lot 🙄 Taken up by; water kettle, grinder, coffee machine, toaster, induction 'hob', oven, microwave, slow cooker, air fryer. Along with built in gas hobs & sink/drying area The stand mixer & food processor are on the 'island' counter area. They take up 1/3 of that. I can relate to the OP wanting a full western kitchen. Thinking now, also a cabinet full other appliances; another air fryer, toaster over, waffle (w/interchangeable grill plates) maker, toastie maker, hand mixer, blender, ice cream maker ... WTF I need to buy a converted van and live out of a backpack. Park at the beach & smoke doobies all day
  18. Whoa there cowboy. I simply stated I think it's an underperformer for the price. And I did note the 1 good point, range, if needing & wanting, to go 900 kms non stop. Although as noted, if test speed was 40kph, then 900kms isn't going to work on TH's highways, unless not in a hurry. Hard to say an ICE has a good carbon footprint, environmentally friendly or cost effective/fuel efficient, though relative to other ICEV, then maybe yes. You still need to purchase petrol, so very un cost effective. I find it strange that the OP spent about 800k for a car, he apparently knows very little about. Enjoy what ever you drive, UP2U, and no, I don't have any agenda. I do wish everyone drove BEVs, for the sake of local low level pollution. Especially when I standing curbside or driving our MB or bicycle. As the exhaust is horrendous & unhealthy to breathe. Whatever works for you, as I've stated many times (apparently ignored), that BEV aren't for everyone.
  19. I think your Electrolux 56L oven may be a knock off. As that is the one I have, and really like it. If the same model. Notice that ours is discontinued, and a newer, small, more toaster over model is available. Might be the one you had/have. Suggest it might be a knock off, as we got ours from Electrolux distributor, and max temp is only 230°C. With 3 heating elements both top & bottom. Powerful fans also.
  20. That is one underperforming car. So they are calling it a 'hybrid', simply because it has electric motor. Doesn't actually run on the battery. Battery simply being intermediate conversion of 'power/energy' to electric motors. That's some really poor specs for 800k baht. Only plus being, 900 kms range on full tank, if ever needed. Engine: 2NR-VEX 1.5 litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol (E20-compliant) Engine output: 91 PS (90 hp or 67 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 121 Nm from 4,000-4,800 rpm Transmission: E-CVT, FWD Electric motor output: 80 PS (79 hp or 59 kW) and 141 Nm Total system output: 111 PS (110 hp or 82 kW) Hybrid battery: 4.3 Ah lithium-ion Rated fuel economy: 26.3 km/l Fuel tank capacity: 36 litres
  21. Don't think I ever forgot to pay. Have corrected more than a few bills, in their favor mostly. Also returned too much change when given. Small vendors or cashiers. I have been undercharged, I think at times, at larger, highly profit making chains. But I'm sure it was probably on a sale I didn't notice, and hate for them to lose face if I pointed it out. Just assume they know better than myself, what the real price was
  22. Not annoy me, but do wonder why some understand me perfectly, and others haven't a clue what I said. Not like I'm in deep conversation with them, just ordering food at restaurant or simple shopping questions.
