  1. When it comes to politics, I've always found very little comes from actual facts.
  2. No 'go fund me' yet ... 😂
  3. That's what you were told 😂
  4. First quote, my reply is in reference to EV graveyards in CH. the rest ... I never try to explain BS.
  5. They were all 'sold', and unfortunately, most sold to rental companies that went bankrupt. Poor business planning and market analysis. oops Don't think anyone cares (owners that I know) about being virtuous. Better performance, and less cost to 'now' buy, energize (location dependent) and maintain. AND, if keeping till it dies, probably last longer, though yet to be proven. Starting at 429k THB, or even 409k THB for limited time, till stock runs out. Agree with last statement, long ways to go before most don't need the monopoly of fossil fuel for energy. Luckily in TH, both EV & solar is very affordable. On Topic, as always ... nothing new about any ICE. EV now able to be mass produced at very low cost, with battery technology and cost improving almost every month. ICE ... same same, not different EV ... better & better everyday
  6. And Budweiser is/was one of the best selling beers ... nuff said
  7. HEY ... I resemble that ... also stopped at 45/46 mark. Actually never thought I'd make to 30 or 35 😂 Now closer to 70 than 69, Dec coming up soon. Uncommon common sense to me ... Retire ASAP, do what you enjoy, or nothing at all, if makes one happy. UP2U Beats working or even having a mandatory schedule.
  8. Mixed thoughts on that. Not stealing, simply taking back what you give. Against their rules, so not a good thing to do. Not a big fan of the monopoly of many things. I don't export, though did test it out a few times. Even before we got out digital meter, I set the inverter to 'no export'.
  9. Whoa ... for 50k baht mark, it should be a lithium battery. Think you need to shop around a bit more.
  10. Not impossible, but most people don't have what is necessary to easily extinguish a battery/EV fire. EV enthusiast myself, but also use common sense. Don't leave charging some batteries unattended, and or, charge outside.
  11. Agree. I'm as incognito as possible ... BUT ... If you've ever given your data to any agency (govt/private) vendor, bank, hospital, phone company (why everyone asks for ph#) ... any one of those, you can rest assured, anyone & everyone has that info also, already. Don't believe any site or whatever, that tells you differently.
  12. That's the policy at Hua Hin, PKK province.
  13. Daughter is waiting on her TOU meter, (next week) and was told the exact same from PEA/installer via BYD. Definitely something inherently wrong with some people. The few really do screw it up for those that try to color within the lines. Seems to carry over in all aspects of things (thing Imm & agent for TH). I'm obviously not a fan of PEA, but damn, they help you and you screw them.
  14. Atheist also, and even I find that offensive. I don't watch sports, especially the olympics, but I think I would boycott any sponsor of the olympics on principle, if they didn't publicly condemn that silliness. The new woke world of acceptance seem to be filled with hate, from the folks that think they are oppressed and want to be accepted. They really are their own worst enemy.
  15. That's a sad list, all failed politicians, all from states with major problems they can't solve, so let's have them use all their wisdom & experience in the WH ... Josh Shapiro - Think Philadelphia's homelessness, 12th in homicides K&A/zombie land ... Mark Kelly - Arizona, think open borders & top 13 highest crime states in USA ... Gretchen Whitmer - 15 yr member (failed) state House 7 Senate, think Detroit, failed economy, 10th highest crime ... Wes Moore ... unlike the rest, he lacks any experience. Not the most trustworthy person, and even gets a 'controversies' section in his wiki bio
  16. Go to Bank of your choice, ask them what they want, then go to immigration and get your certificate of residence. That's probably all they're going to ask you for, that should be everything you need and your passport. No need for an agent to open a bank account. Hua Hin will issue a certificate, 500 baht, you'll need a copy of your lease, landlord's ID, possibly landlord I forget it's been so long.
  17. Agree. Considering biden somehow got appointed by the EC, and the deep state likes things just the way they are, I'm pretty sure harris will be appointed next. Only the voters like Trumps, and they simply don't count. Win win me. Rest of the world, you're screwed. Continued proxy wars & inflation.
  18. Had to google that ... learn something everyday.
  19. Whoa, that's inexpensive. These new prices will definitely put a dent in the JP badged 'made in TH' entry level cars. And never pay for petrol again. Can't see anyone getting another ICE when the time arrives. And if a pick up hits the market this year or next, I think a few more auto factories will be converting or shutting production in TH. Get any cheaper and I might just buy one for the hell of it ... In the USA, I always had a spare car or 2, along with a scooter. Only reason I kept the ICE MB so long, as rarely drove it, except to put air in tires & top up the tank. Actually like driving the E-MB.
  20. Added some salmon to my usual brekkie ...
  21. That would prove you're a resident, and not tourist. All find, found all the rules quite easy to understand and follow here. How people have problems is beyond me. Makes you wonder how well they functioned in their home country. An agents dream client
  22. CoR from TH Imm is way too easy to get. Nothing here is complicated, for marriage or retirement visas. Never did the work visa thing, so haven't a clue. Simply have to prove where you live. Required and not hard in any country, I believe. This ain't rocket science.
