What's your budget. Good gear is not cheap, does make a difference, especially for birding. Also doesn't mean it has to be silly price. I'm a Sony fan. Mirrorless and 'cropped' body, a much better value, and gives you more reach / zoom-ability, for wildlife. Meaning if the lens is 350mm, you'll get 525m out of it. Birding is my thing, along with everything else. Editing software ... I use LR (Lightroom), for minor editing, or other times, when is saved my butt. Also use DeNoize, which is amazing. LR is subscription base, unfortunately, though I got it for free. Denoize is buy once, and well worth it, especially on sale. For $1000 USD / ฿35K, you should be able to pick up a used camera body & zoom lens. I'd recommend looking for 2nd hand Sony a6400 & E70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS, if you can find for price stated, or more if have it. Use your smart phone for anything else. Don't worry about age, as I didn't buy a interchangeable lens kit until I was 64, only 6 yrs ago. A great hobby.

Personally I wouldn't call anything in Thailand, 'World Class', including healthcare. Saying that, it seems to be more than adequate for most things. If you come from a universal healthcare country (not USA) then you certainly won't find it inexpensive, but you will have instant access if and when needed, at private hospitals, and many govt hospitals. I've been quite happy with minor issues tended to & procedures done, and far from expensive. But I'm a Yank, so that's very relative to some silly pricing in the USA.

I wouldn't mind one at Krung Thep, as hotel prices have skyrocketed, and visiting the kid gets expensive, just for a day visit and nice munch out, on her days off. Aside from the 300 km drive, one way. Something under 1M, with no amenities, so low maintenance fees. Should be some nice sales coming up soon.

Agree, and really are silly priced per m². Good for those without a trusting partner, or simply wish to remain single. A pool with no maintenance worries would be nice. I'm not neighbor friendly, so not even a consideration. I also need a proper kitchen, which is as large as some condos.

Nah ... just the wife doing spring cleaning of the storage area, and selling all the crap we haven't used in 6 months or more. I have a YT that has millions of views, but need 5k subscribers to be monetized, and think I'm only half way. Have no desire to have a income channel, as sounds like work, and just stick stuff there for myself.

Egg prices down from the high, both wholesale & retail, by ~50% +/- 10% from the silly high caused by Biden administration's policy of chicken culling, and mismanagement afterwards.... IMHO Feedback I'm getting, so far, so good; egg prices, petrol prices both down. Border much more secure, and scum being deported. Hostages / POW, (mid east) what ever you want to call them were being exchanged, as 'or else' seemed to work. Talks with UA & RU moving along. Corruption and govt waste exposed ... finally, that even the most ignorant or stupid person is starting to realize the joke that is the federal govt, and budget spending. People struggling ... well, relative to folks I know, that are intelligent and work hard for everything they have, so all doing fine. As always, your vendor can be kind, or price gouge ... same for any product, anywhere. UP2U where you shop and how thrifty you are, or need to be. If I lived in the USA, I'd be buying from the local farm, egg producer. Easy to find, best eggs for best price. Actually ... If I was in USA, I'd just go out to the coop every morning and get my eggs. I'd have a coop here, but eggs are too cheap, and I like my free time. The garden & greenhouse is enough for now. #1 eggs being <$1.50 a dozen here / TH.
