  1. Some of my Sony camera kit is made in TH, and, rare, but I'm happy if & when I can get the USA price here. Cheaper in USA ... That's just sad 😂
  2. Not from elephant, but from civits. Actually raised here at Chumphon, TH, and saw them, had coffee, and nothing special. Nothing like the prices quoted. Royal Development Project ร้านกาแฟขี้ชะมดโครงการพัฒนาส่วนพระองค์ จ.ชุมพร Kopi luwak Asian Palm Civit
  3. And yet ... MIA from this list: source
  4. I missed that 2ACs running almost 24/7 (damn speed reading, today, 2X 🙄) Yea, that 7k is looking about right now. Especially in needing to run, means not very good, or major sun exposure and mediocre construction, if bldg that hot.
  5. Missed the price, oops There'e 3 Whizdom condo bldgs at same location, older - newer. Good Luck with the sale to OP
  6. More silliness, as this morning it was chilly and damp. GW/MMCC ... Lovin' it 🥶
  7. Price & complex name (Whizdom ?) would be helpful and avoid lots of annoying queries. Connect Inspire Essence
  8. What a crap production day today. Woke up, and I guess ESSs shy of 60%, as only 68% now. Just now started producing 2+kWh, (vs 1kWh or less earlier (9.7kWh of PV) so 3-4 hrs of that, and we'll be back at 100% before production drops off to ... not enough 😂 Using less than 300w: 2 frigs 1 fan 65" TV/laptop. Guess I should be on the phone, too small & annoying to type. Time for a park run with the dog 😎
  9. OP is talking about just a 3 month recon holiday, so more than enough room. Especially if having a small kitchenette, with medium size frig, water kettle & microwave. I would need at least 50sqm, if living here longer, just enough to do home cooking in. 1 bdrm, 1 eat in full kitchen.
  10. Do they have a proper paint booth ?
  11. That's what the Q would be. An appointment, then, was something like 1 month wait. Excellent work, as long as you can still drive or have a 2nd mode of transport while in the Q, waiting your appointment date.
  12. Age of ACs and if inverters will make a big difference, and of course, keeping them maintained & clean (filters). ฿7000 = 1450 kWh/units of electric. That's about double our normal usage, and Sept wasn't exactly a hot month. We used 20kWh a day on average when home in Sept, so would be 600kWh @ ฿2800
  13. Only found 1, the Toyota dealer near RTAF Wing 23 base. Has quite the long Q though, or did, way back when used.
  14. Really haven't noticed beans sold in anything larger than 500gr bag, which we get delivered @205 per or 410 a kg, and order 3 kgs at at a time. 100% Arabica (espresso) beans As good as any others we've sampled and the least expensive I think we're done experimenting, as been a few years and still haven't found anything better. For others, that don't need to fondle their beans before buying: Cafe Roma using the French press of late:
  15. @DonniePeverley That sounds really high, as the most we us, is ~1000 kWh a month and that's <5000 PEA bill. We're abusive with the AC, use electric appliances in kitchen, and even charge EVa Not UK, but compared to USA, electric is not that cheap in TH, same or more depending where living in USA.
  16. 2 Kitchen appliance worth bringing with you, if feasible, especially if starting out: Instant Pot Duo 7 in 1 Ooni Pizza oven (gas) Both a bit silly priced here, if you enjoy home cooking.
  17. Also a Yank, and I think most things, in UK are a tad more expensive than USA, AND ... I find most things are about the same or more expensive in TH, for everyday living. Many thing much more expensive here in TH. Anything involving labor is much cheaper in TH, along with tax base; mainly RE, being fairly non existent. Of course healthcare is far cheaper in TH for Yanks, and you'll find it much more accessible than UK I believe, though not free as the UK.
  18. For those 'patient, DIY folks:
  19. I does & did, as a 3 stage filter. Metals are my concern, hence the RO delivery route.
  20. Definitely as that's no brainer.
  21. Agree, and did take out chlorine taste/smell, and with .XXX micon filter, all biologicals. Just as stated, maybe not any metals, if having, and I don't think any countertop filter will do that, as I asked the dealer if they even offered one, low or high end ... answer was NO. Hence why we went with RO delivered. 170-180 is standard ppm for tap water.
  22. ROI will be much quicker than 10 yrs, with no power cuts, steady current, protecting our electronics. I actually expect 10-20 trouble free out of PV & batteries, and hopefully inverter, well maybe 10 yrs on inverter. All will be cheaper in future to replace.
  23. Why ... males & females are pretty much equal in my world, how would either's financial needs, abilities be different.
  24. Rough wouldn't be the word I'd use. Still had a net worth of over 100+ mill today. Amazing how they function so well in some aspects of life, and fall miserably in others.
  25. Thanks for the comic relief .. priceless ignorance is always good for a chuckle.
