  1. Same one I already posted a link to, when asked: https://aseannow.com/topic/1334835-the-tim-walz-thread/page/24/#comment-19133135 Have a nice day
  2. Season 4, that's just sad, and didn't make it through E1 Read the synopsis of S3, but thought I'd give S4 a shot anyway. Pre snip of S3 didn't help. Then Pages new male ish voice, and all the other embarrassing situation of the others, and just wondering, how can it go from quite good, to WTF
  3. My first meal is just before noon, and just before the dog takes me for my walk. Wake up ~0600, and coffee is about all I'm going to do. Then troll AN Stick to my overnight fast, ~2100-1100 fairly well. Makes a big difference in weight control, and quite easy, since asleep half the time.
  4. Being produced by a subsidiary of PTT, the state owned oil company...nuff said So doubt if they be going anywhere anytime soon. They'll also have a battery factory here, if not already.
  5. fire stats been done to death ... ... ICEV lose big time in that competition Why do you persist ...
  6. My initial contact with our installer, was for a 6.3kw hybrid inverter, no batteries, and about 150k. At the time, I asked for different prices for different sizes, and it worked it's way up to 200k to 200k+, then with ESSs 5-10-20kWh, and we were into 400+k and I said ... ... 'do ding dong people actually spend this kind of money for solar' ... 'yea, some do, others just use the grid as battery at night & roll back their meters' ... and the rest is history ...
  7. I think I liked it better when I ignored your postings ... Think BYD will take that crown this year
  8. Use to hit a coffer at least once a week ... ... but now ...
  9. I don't think Nissan, Subaru or Suzuki will be around too much longer Scaled way back to markets in JP and USA maybe.
  10. I'm a hold them till it dies, or has little value, kind of vehicle owner. Like to get my money's worth out of them. In days past, USA, they died, or I killed them. Didn't sell many cars of mine, and owned more than a few. All bought 2nd with 1 exception. Here/TH, all bought new, I sell them, when I lose trust in them, and by that time, 5-7 yrs, they're only worth pocket change. Referring to my 2 Vios & 1 Mazda 2. Actually gave the M2 to the daughter, and she just sold it for 70k, and was happy to get that. Less than 200k kms on it. What a POS.
  11. With our high priced install, with the EVs, and if still driving as we do, 22.5k kms a year, I expect ROI in <10 yrs. If all local driving, and continued abuse of AC at house, then that could easily be 4-6 yrs. Our system (8kW inverter w/20kWh of ESS) is more than enough for the 2 of us, and the 2nd ESS (10kWh), was only added for getting longevity out of them, as they now rarely go below 60%. So 1 cycle every 3 days or so. They'll outlast me, if no oops, and possibly the wife. We also have 46.3 kWh of battery in the EV, if ever needed. I consider both to be 2 of the best investments I ever made. Depreciating products that will pay for themselves + ... for years to come.
  12. Nothing theoretical, as they actually test those kind of things. Theoretical would be those thinking, you may even get 10k cycles out of them. As I said, 2500 is considered conservative by many. Has nothing to do with NETA or MG, it's the battery tech that CATL (13 yrs) & BYD (29 yrs) have perfected and continue to improve over the last couple decades. Instead of pushing dinosaur technology for added profits. source
  13. Since you don't drive yours very much, I guess 20 yrs is easy. Expect battery life (conservative) of LFP chemistry. As noted at the bottom, for our MG ZS. Now put in you #s for kms per year and do the math.
  14. Now who's cherry pickin' ... that's an issue for your govt and big oil's collusion & corruption. Not my problem 😎
  15. Not my definition. For me, IMHO, BEV is an EV. Just pointed out eow's hypocrisy, of singling CH out, for listing hybrids as EV, and not the rest of the world. I don't get the practicality (redundancy) of HEV or PHEV myself, unless living where CS aren't available, or BEV is not practical for ones lifestyle. Oh yea ... they're not for everyone 🙄
  16. The have electric motors, and separate batteries to operate them. Sounds like electric vehicle to me.
  17. Those numbers are across the board for every country. Talk about cherry picking. Toyota Yaris Cross "Hybrid HEV", w/Battery: 0.77 kWh 178 V lithium-ion ... seriously, why even bother
  18. Not a harris fan, but agree, I believe in 'free speech' ... any free speech. In an appropriate setting. If they interrupted her rally, then that takes away from their message, as there is a time & place for everything.
  19. Don't know why it would be useless. We've gone up to Mae Chaem, Chiang Mai province (991 kms) and down to Betong, Yala province (915 kms). Being shy of 1000 kms each, you're going to stop a few times anyway. Especially if not just you in the car. TBH, it doesn't take much extra time, if any, to top up the BEV vs the ICE version of the same. But cost less than half to do so. ฿370 vs ฿970 to travel 360 kms.
  20. Still got some leftover JP Pork Curry ... ... so why not 😎
  21. Nice and sunny out now, though still patchy clouds, and still produced 22+kWh already. Don't export, so will only produce what's needed after ESSs are topped up. Even then, best was about 6kWh, so still a bit overcast then and not prime exposure to the panels. ESS top up before 1100 hrs, from last night (8kWh), while both ACs on (13&24BTUs). Topping up car (only 4kWh), and got the MC Q'd up to charge when that is done. And it's only 1244 hrs
  22. The cameras are nice when parking, or leaving a parking spot, though not sure if that is completely integrated on the SeaLion's ADAS system. We still have our 360° view on the MG ZS even though the ADAS is disabled.
  23. OP didn't ask cheapest 2nd hand car in 2023. Topic is NETA V Nobody knows what the depreciation will be in 10 year. Surely just pocket change, no matter what entry level car you buy. BEV or ICEV NETA V is both cheaper to by in, along with operate & maintain. Kind of rids any depreciation comparison of any under performing ICEV in 10 yrs time. As stated many times, BEV aren't for everyone, but that is what the OP asked about.
  24. Leaving the Barstool ... locally ... it's hard leaving the local area at times, or even the back veranda & front porch. View off the front porch after the clouds broke up a bit to let the sun through last night ... Don't get much tourist promo here, PKK town, except the annual Jet Ski competition. Party time this weekend ... Ao Prachuap's white sand beach looking good this AM (penicillin shot not inc). Along with final touches being put on the stage at the park ... Got the MC Q'd up, as soon as the car is topped up. They pack 'em in at surfside for the weekend market, let alone having a festival.
