  1. Younger chickies for older men are available in every country, when disparity of wealth exist between the rich & poor.
  2. Disagree. I've ordered 100+ items from online vendors, LAZ, Shopee, Banggood, AliExpress, Homepro, Central, and rarely had to return them. LAZ has excellent refund policy, especially when ordering from 'flagship' or LAZ Mall vendors. And who buys an iPhone that isn't sold by an authorized reseller. Common sense makes for a happy, safe, shopping experience. Always cross reference any items you're interested in with manufacturer site, Google research, and if on Amazon (don't shop there) but sometimes has better info. Know the product, and pricing at brick & mortar stores, do some research. All easy enough.
  3. Yes, COD is not problem. Prefer LAZ over Shopee. Read reviews, return policy, and not so small fine print. Try to order from 'Flagship' or 'Official' manufacturer stores on both. In site search engines are terrible. If finding an item you like, search same on Google, and add 'lazada.co.th' to the search. Same with Shopee. Also use this search engine: https://www.priceza.com/ if knowing a specific item, as will pull up competitive vendors for same, or even multiple listing on same site, such as 5 different or more LAZ stores. Always try to order domestic, as pricing is starting to get closer. COD when 'overseas' delivery, usually means no custom duty, and if so, you can simply refuse delivery, if not wanting to pay the duty, or if too high for you. Most overseas deliveries take 2 weeks +/-. I've has things arrive within 1 week, rare or 3 weeks, also rare.
  4. That is listed on the linked info, as VOA???? The ones I made a snapshot of are supposedly 'visa free' .... maybe. Though not many place I'd care to go or convenient to get to.
  5. Not sure how accurate, but Visa Free. LInk has eVisa & VOA info, do verify: https://visaguide.world/visa-free-countries/thailand-passport/
  6. As long as I can get on / off without tipping over, I'll still be riding scooters. I'm 67 .
  7. Isn't WU like the most expensive & inconvenient way to send money. 2022 ... just send to their bank account.
  8. Keeping a 50 baht key, the landlord has a copy of as ransom for 1000s of baht deposit ... fair trade ????
  9. 800 baht ... seems more than fair ... I've paid more for less
  10. Y'all need to wake up at sunrise or earlier if wanting to see the local out for run. Or prior to sunset, and any of the parks or surfside. Both park & surfside areas are quite busy with folks running, walking where I live.
  11. To bad the same can't be said for the other states / provinces: "Australia's primary energy consumption is dominated by coal (around 40 per cent), oil (34 per cent) and gas (22 per cent)"
  12. And yet ... ... "About one in ten people in Thailand legally own a gun. There are more than six million registered guns in a country with a population of 66.7 million."
  13. Everything could be open and back to normal, and 'falangs' would still find something, rather anything & everything to complain about. Misery loves company ????
  14. I use to, though haven't a clue what pieces. Chopin, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and few other, that escape my memory. Remember listening on my 'walkman', yea, that long ago, in the workplace break room. Buddy strolled by, asked 'what you listening to ? ' ???? Mozart I think .... he didn't believe me, then realized I was serious, and asked for a listen. Kind of kept them on for a few tunes ???? Think he was expecting a little Black Sabbath or Led Zep when asking. Thai wife will listen to it occasionally. Got a chuckle first time I caught her listening to it, when I hadn't put it on. I tend to listen to instrumental, whether classical or jazz, or something else. Lyrics, even stuff I used to listen to, are a bit annoying any more. Surprised now that I ever liked some of the c r a p I used to listen to.
  15. I think Norway is just about fossil free energy, mostly with their hydro electic production.
  16. You can also do that here in Thailand also. No different. Just don't enter the turnstile / train platform. You even have a 2 hour window for shopping, I think, if wanting to shop at the 'malls' in the stations, though most don't offer much. You can ride the station and go back to your original if just wanting to sightsee in AC comfort from above ... ???? Actually some good vantage point if a photographer.
