I agree with what you say but in every area of work you will be criticised and shown hopefully a better way. In the long run the criticism is just useful advice.

I agree it probably isn't but we would make a similar judgement if we saw such acts repeatedly with Thais

I am going to say you and your family get on well with the Thais in your area. We get on well with the people where we live. Unfortunately the Thai people who in places like Pattaya may not have the same view because of what they see on an almost daily pattern. For example, of how location modifies judgement the gym I go to has only 2 foreigners myself and another guy during the morning. We get on fine with the locals as we are always respectful them and they are to us. If however you live in an area such as Pattaya and from what I read Phuket although I cant verify that location, then it would be a reasonable assumption to assume the foreigners are symbolic of all foreigners which is not the case by any standard.

Have you tried changing the battery in your remote control? I had a similar problem but it was a different make. Changed the battery and worked perfectly.

Same. Not a place I would recommend. I only specified Pattaya as many people think of Pattaya when they want to visit Thailand without really knowing what it is like
