    I totally agree but just look at many building sites, no protective equipment. Safety is only something they put on posters but don't enforce it.

    No, I know what people are like and many, not all, will assume you dont want the many back. Many will give it back but a lot wont and will be very offended if you ask for it.

    I totally agree with you but if you adopt the attitude that once given you will never see it again you wont be disappointed if they dont return it. They should I know but many people dont.

    If you do help and dont get the money back that also causes problems. Do not give money unless you do not want it back.

    In a list I saw today, Thailand is also a country that scammers target more than many other countries. I can understand it as well because all this "go digital" requires very good security measures and follow up procedures if a scam is suspected. Unfortunately Thailand does not appear to have either of these in place. Maybe I am wrong on this but having reported a scammer to a bank and nothing was done about it, it can believe it.

    There seems to be very little training on working at heights. As you say his harness was most likely tied to the basket if it was secured at all. RIP to the guy and condolences to his family.

    The Saudis are lazy. We had one come for a job and so wee interviewed him. When we told him the work hours and 5 days a week with weekends on call he couldn't handle it. Said maybe 2 days a week I could come.

    Saudis are not as bad as the Kuwaities. Spent several years in Saudi and we had a load of people from Kuwait come when Iraq invaded Kuwait and they made the Saudis look like armatures when it came to arrogance.

    Vietnam I agree is something very different to Thailand. I was lucky to work there for a year.

    Yes, that is certainly an option. Or it could be just poor maintenance and poor driving capabilities.

    Neither is a yearly print out. You could get the print out, go outside to the ATM and withdraw money taking the balance to below the minimum. I cant imagine why you would do that but in theory it would be possible.

    True they are territorial. I believe you also get a lot of Cobra's in the overgrown Soi's in Bangkok as well. Some good videos about them on YouTube.

    In general don't go putting your hands under coverings laying on the floor or into dark areas. Snakes do not generally attack people unless they feel threatened. There is one snake that will hunt you down if you are in their territory but that is in PNG not Thailand.

    Put on purely for tourists, over priced everything. Floating markets aimed at locals way out in the country ok but the touristy ones just a rip off

    The Kuwaitis are well known for their arrogance. Such actions dont surprise me as they feel they are above everyone else. There are some decent ones of course but the majority have the attitude.
