I never give into the rip off prices in the vinery shops in Thailand. Always have managed to get regularly few bottles from abroad from friends who travel and do not drink all that much, like myself.

The chap who sold me my house, had a contact at BB and the account was opened in 30 minutes...for free. So it's all about who you know and who he knows...nothing is impossible here.

They learn fast here in Thailand. They saw how the western leaders are scamming their own with the hateful environmental taxes on anything to everything. A great money making business plan incentive with the environmental tax rackets in most European nations. Europe is destroying itself and sadly Thailand has taken the (bad) example. But no worries. In general the locals will be exempted. Wonder who will be the golden goose to shell out the money (again) ?

I really would not trust those chop shop stalls all over MBK and similar with those ladies highly on makeup, trying to woo the customer. Go to the regular store like Banana IT at Central Mall, pay the price but at least you will have less chances in having the cheap chinese imitation battrey to explode.

Won't last as due to the over strong Thai Bhat, foreigners who come are spending much less. Because the prices in the malls have not increased and the cheating continues in popular tourist towns and the restaurants that usually love to overcharge if they see foreigners.

Got a few from Temu also...but that was real crap and did not last. Those on Lazada however normally are still operating and left outside for a year now with no issues.

Never, never feed animals in nature. It breaks the balance. Birds being the topic here are vital to remove pests in a garden like worms and similar. Feeding them artificially will break the balance of nature.

No secret that some of the biggest crooks are the policy makers running banks or insurance firms at the top of the food chain. In Thailand, any excuse will be good to avoid refunding, be it for a car or home issue. Best to avoid driving your self. Best to hyper secure your home. Best to avoid the trouble. Obviously any foreign consulate outside Thailand would be much more simple and efficient compared to any immigration office in Thailand. This being said, it can very depending on the Consulate/Embassy. I have often heard from friends in Paris, that over there , it can be rather slow to process. Keep in mind that even the e-visa submitted online, needs some kind of approuval from the embassy/consulate of your country of official residence mentioned during the submission.

What Trump says or does is one thing. The point here is why do all those brillant minds who come from other countries and can prosper anyplace...why are they bootlicking America ? They should rather slam the door, leave and open up shop in their own countries like their fellow citizens. Many doctors, software, professionals have left america, gone back to their original homelads, set up shop there and are doing very well. Stop bootlicking America is the point...not what Trump does or does not.

Unlike Europe who is basically destroying the auto industry.
