  1. I am pretty sure his marriage is registered. Every year you need to bring in that form from the local office showing you are still married to get an extension.
  2. Remind me not to surf this forum before dinner!
  3. Just one https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/tucker-carlson-fired-worst-things-he-said-racism-immigrants-1234722751/
  4. That is true. A Thai word for "life" is ชีพ pronounced "cheep"
  5. The real problem that I see is that it is not installed correctly. I see them just lay it on the sand. It should be up 1/3 the thickness of the slab. Sometimes I see them reach down and pull it up, but if they miss a spot, it is useless. Should be supported with little blocks before the pour.
  6. The stickiness has lot has to do with the age of the rice. We grow rice, but rarely eat the first year crop. The second year is still soft but not sticky.
  7. If I remember right, in an earlier case against Tucker Carson. The Fox argument was that the show is not a news program but an opinion piece and falls ruffly under entertainment, and the viewers should view as such. I believe Fox won that case. Of course the viewers take it as truth. Fox needs to state as does many newspaper do at the end of an article that "the opinions of the speaker are not necessarily those of Fox"
  8. Whats that mean? There are more poor people, superstitious or not than rich people, superstitious or not.
  9. I don't know much about importing and I haven't seen the list of restricted items, but it seems that people when flying in still pay import tax on items they bring. Someone I know brought in a pool filtering system last year on the plane. The guy with the car was a bit of a scammer. Owned 49% of a company here with the other 51% divided 4 ways. He may have brought the car in through the company.
  10. About 5 years ago
  11. A guy from the UK brought his little MG sports car. Brought in a shipping container. The container arrived along with the police. He got the car, but I don't know what it costed him.
  12. From that report While rising carbon dioxide concentrations in the air can be beneficial for plants, it is also the chief culprit of climate change. The gas, which traps heat in Earth’s atmosphere, has been increasing since the industrial age due to the burning of oil, gas, coal and wood for energy and is continuing to reach concentrations not seen in at least 500,000 years. The impacts of climate change include global warming, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and sea ice as well as more severe weather events. The beneficial impacts of carbon dioxide on plants may also be limited, said co-author Dr. Philippe Ciais, associate director of the Laboratory of Climate and Environmental Sciences, Gif-suv-Yvette, France. “Studies have shown that plants acclimatize, or adjust, to rising carbon dioxide concentration and the fertilization effect diminishes over time.” “While the detection of greening is based on data, the attribution to various drivers is based on models,” said co-author Josep Canadell of the Oceans and Atmosphere Division in the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation in Canberra, Australia. Canadell added that while the models represent the best possible simulation of Earth system components, they are continually being improved.
  13. I guess that can happen but I have never heard of that happening before either.
  14. Had a problem at an apartment in the US. They said if it leaked their insurance wouldn't cover any damage.
  15. Oh, It will do the job. It is a bit more of a concentrated spray than most bum guns.
  16. I recently upgraded to one of these. No more leaning. https://www.amazon.com/PIKETS-Attachment-Non-Electric-Adjustable-02-Chrome/dp/B09QPDWXWC/ref=sr_1_15?crid=22XNWS4H3S2W7&keywords=bidet%2Battachment%2Bfor%2Btoilet&qid=1682044071&sprefix=biget%2Caps%2C359&sr=8-15&th=1
  17. I worked in the marijuana fields in Oregon for 4 years. 800 plants the largest. Now the fields are bear, the bottom dropped out. A good grade joint, sold in a plastic tube, one US dollar. I think it will be the same here in a year or two.
  18. I had the same problem as you and had to reapply. They always make the first extension the hardest, now with the home visit including the village head man, two neighbors unrelated to your family. But I remember way back when, you had to bring the neighbors in to sign at the immigration office. Also Korat office
  19. "kwaai" Buffalo, "kuuai" a rude word Thai insult meaning "prick". He seems he did know enough Thai to get his feeling across.
  20. None of us will know what really happened. He was a big man compared to the Thais around him. He already had shown his "personality" Did the Thais push first or did he? Maybe the Thais were defending themselves, and maybe he did fall on his face.
  21. My wife says he said "kuuai" not "kwaai".
  22. Since I understand very little Thai. What does she say about the bruise on her arm?
  23. I was thinking the same thing just before I read your post.
  24. The pump fell in? Was he pumping water out of the pool for the garden?
  25. I guess there can always be a problem, but i have never brought anything except my PP.
