  1. Reticulated python, I've seen them in the river here. Reticulated have a diamond pattern and are darker, the Burmese have an irregular pattern.
  2. He got a spokesman to say it, knew he probably couldn't keep a straight face
  3. "Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen, nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery." ~ Wilkins Micawber (Charles Dickens - David Copperfield)
  4. I'm sure if he waits a few more days he can probably take a snap of the carcass, washed up choked on plastic
  5. The money isn't transferred as such, Wise is peer to peer banking, they cooperate with partners in each country and match money transfers. So your request for Baht is matched with someone in Thailand wanting to transfer money to your country. No, there is no '4 digit code', once you've gone through the verification process and set up an account the process of transferring money is simple.
  6. The weird wiring was a concern when I considered powerline networking. Like you we live in a 4 storey house, so I tried a fairly cheap pair of TP-Link adapters first. I found they worked and have since increased the adapters on the original network and added a pair of Zyxel gigabit adapters. I now have two powerline networks running happily through the same wiring system and junction box. I've not had any problems, you don't get the numbers the equipment is badged as capable of, but it's good enough. The TP-Link 500 network gives about 50 to 70Mbps, whilst the pair of Zyxel 1800 adapters will give me 100 to 150Mbps. I'm happy with them, it avoided running wires all over the house.
  7. Yes. If you're transferring to a Baht denominated account then the recipient currency is Thai Baht.
  8. ...postillion (has been struck by lightning)
  9. It is if you set too narrow a target, but broad goals and targets are fine. Similarly, too narrow a focus in one direction may mean you too easily dismiss an opportunity leading in another. Though as pointed out above, life doesn't always go to plan, so always have Plans B, C, D & E. Gravity sucks. .
  10. Dodgiest of all? Based on what evidence? Surely not a minor breach of a 3rd party server that carries no personal details or passwords indeed anything except details of websites accessed though attributable to no user. All this three years ago February 2018. Why not look at something more recent? https://www.zdnet.com/article/expressvpn-vs-surfshark-vs-nordvpn-which-vpn-service-is-best/
