Arriving in Mukdahan at 4 PM and expecting to be in Phuket same day? Hell that's a challenge. Another way of saying I don't think that there is any chance. Distance is about 1500 km, 20 hour drive on the road. The closest airports are 2 to 3 hour drive away. Haven't checked the schedules. But simply no way. Realistic: drive to Khon Kaen, overnight and continue with (connecting) flight next morning. Connecting: next non-stop is not before Friday from Khon Kaen.
