Advisable time between international arrival and domestic departure?
KhunBENQ replied to jil's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
I only know from reports about terrible waiting at international >departure< currently. But why should arrival be much better. It's a game of luck depending on day of week, time of day. To the OP: are you flying in the near future? What time you arrive by schedule? Depending on that and your final destination(?) it would be an option not to book a connecting flight and try your luck after arrival. Worst case: overnight. -
What should people think about it...

As described that works (maybe use another email).

Domestic flights with Airasia from Suvarnabhumi?
KhunBENQ replied to jil's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
For AirAsia I am not quite sure but I think it started at the darkest times of Covid (end of 2020?) when Suvarnabhumi was very quiet. Other airlines always offered domestic flights from Suv. And AirAsia only serves Phuket, Chiang Mai and Krabi from BKK. So only the tourist top routes. And no flights tomorrow (on a Monday). -
Just checked what they offer for new customers (Chrome incognito window). 2 year plan plus 3 months for 161 USD. Comes out at 5.99 USD/month (plus tax if applicable). about 4.8 GBP/month. Check what they offer for new sub in GBP (Pound). If cheaper let subscription expire and use another account/email to order the 2 year plan. But indeed it has become more expensive. My current 2yr plan is about 3 Euro/month. Just thinking whether involving a proxy (friend at home country or elsewhere) could get best price. It's just buying some login data for money. If the Dollar price is best you could use a credit card to order and pay in Dollar?

Does it need a non native speaker like me to understand what the rant is about? Quite sure the topic starter refers to such:

Ukrainian Woman Arrested After Spray Painting Famous Viewpoint in Phuket
KhunBENQ replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
I don't remember this case. But I know what to spray to earn a few years. Can not be discussed here. Or was it just damaging a cultural site? I don't expect this Ukrainian to get severe fine or the like. But Thai government is sure not keen to fight a foreign war with paroles here. Bad for business. -

Sure not. Putin does not use internet nor mobile phone. He gets to know what he is supposed to know by his fearful FSB comrades. -

E.g. this one looks fairly decent: https://goo.gl/maps/5mtvLprLX6bqL7CJ8 Open link to see street view. "Rungroj Air and Sound". Down south from Bangrak on the ring road (4169) on the right side, 250 m before Chaweng Post Office. Hope this one still exists -
Court Issues Order For 9near Website Shut Down

Seems they were succesful with taking down. Even with a VPN it's gone (IP address not found). For a while it was just blocked from Thai IP address. Interestingly I currently can't open the Thai PRD >news< page (on PC and mobile) https://thainews.prd.go.th Is it just me? If they were smart they would invite white-hat-hackers to unveil the holes in their IT systems. But could they live with the results? -

Exactly what is not needed here. Also not needed. Just waiting for the first brawls or worse. -
Thai politicians reminded of the rules of campaigning
KhunBENQ replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News Headlines
?? ?? The most stupid from the list. Could someone declare a rule that speaker being less than 100 dB so my ears don't fly off when they pass the house?? When you experience this you are reminded of living in a third world country. Campaigning for people who are essentially illiterate and have no idea/hopes about politics and party programs. -
Lucky Escape: Sedan Catches Fire on Highway in Surin Province

The Thai article says something like he (the owner) had removed the gas tank? Bit of a mystery to me. Maybe leave fiddling with gas equipment to professionals. -
