  1. My question too. Can hardly be two separate killings. And who can not differentiate between a Ferrari and a Fortuner? Thai news obsessed with Ferrari killers?
  2. The real stuff ????Not the thick "cheese filled crust" degeneration. And don't ask for pizza Hawaii ????
  3. Bigjoke here is a real job for you. Find these crooks and lock them out indefinitely. It really shocks me as no Pattaya visit without view point after sundown.
  4. Fortunately it's not bigjoke who makes/changes laws.
  5. It was in a German expat gazette yesterday (TIP Zeitung). A mate alarmed me. If it all goes back to BP you can still hope it's a hoax.
  6. Surprise. After the first annoying experiences with Bangkok Bank: seems they worked on it. No more grimaces required and face recognized even before exactly in the frame. (if you are in a private hospital you better raise the limits ????)
  7. In contrast to so many "4-star" ratings.
  8. Well deserved and a fairly cheap lesson. Refusing to stop and showing the finger to Thai males. Could have gone much worse.
  9. Fiddling and searching on the SSD or old hard disk is quite hopeless. Again: the WiFi password is setup in the router. What does the sticker on your router show? Only a password? (<password>) User name and password? (admin, <password>) What happens if you enter this in the browser address line and open: 192.168.1.1 What's the manufacturer and model number of the router? What is your internet provider (ToT/NT, 3BB, AIS, ....)?
  10. Interesting background. Gives me an idea why BigC extra has lost a lot of it's attraction for me when in Pattaya. Cheese: they only offer super expensive brand name products. Swiss Gruyere for 3000+ which you get at half the price at Friendship. Casino cheese price hikes stunning. Up here most has vanished from the shelves. Too few millionaires here ????
  11. Prepare for crowds on Aug 3rd. Four working days closed!
  12. MAKRO: have a look at the freezer and don't be surprised if they offer similarly expensive steaks from US, Australia, NZ on offer. Wagyu! Of course the fresh meat is way less expensive. You just have to know what it is good for.
  13. Many common Thais find 400 Baht for a kg of freshly slaughtered beef tenderloin unaffordable. But I think the pictures answer a rhetorical question. How many buyers will go for Spanish smoked pata negra ham for 9000 to 16000 Baht/kilo to be seen at TOPS in Central Beach rd.? How many will buy a small flask of "handmade" Italian olive oil for 11000 Baht? (seen many years ago at Bangkok Siam paragon basement)
  14. New SSD and laptop starting from that. Did you reinstall Windows or transfer? It's obvious that the WiFi pw was stored on the old installation and got lost. The sticker on the router is usually the pw to login to the router and not the WiFi pw. WiFi pw can be changed in the router menu. Are you familiar with that?
  15. Your post is black on white for me like previous ones. Have absolute zero idea. Are you writing on a PC or mobile?
  16. Who doesn't? Unusual? Much less unusual than watch collector for example and billionaire Ferrari cops etc. Sure he evaded tax when selling his business. In the west this is common practice and a fool would you be called if paying tax.

  18. Temporarily disabled as announced by admin George. Let me search for the thread...
  19. That seems to be the same case as described here:
  20. You can't be serious. This sealed unripe stuff that will never develop any typical flavor?
  21. Last registered letter to Germany took 4 days to arrive at Germans customs clearance. Took another 5 days to final delivery. Not bad compared to previous experiences. Once a letter took three weeks from Germany to here. A mate's letter from 19. July took 7 days to German customs clearance and not yet delivered. At least one more day in Thailand compared to mine.
  22. I am not surprised that many Thais have no insight in Buddism. As far as I know there is no religious education in school. It's all "learning by doing" following what the elders do. The Catholics had decided to switch from Latin language to living language that common people can understand and follow. Here all the sermons are in Pali, an archaic language. I often here the monks doing the sermon at sundown for a deceased. It's a "sing a song" that none of the common people understands. So how can they dig deeper. Before I try to explain what Asanha Bucha is, start here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asalha_Puja Don't be confused by the different transcripts. His first sermon after his "enlightenment". And it's definitely not Buddhas birthday!
  23. Looks like the forum support desk is the place to use? https://aseannow.com/forum/19-forum-support-desk/
  24. Found threads from 2018! about the change. Hope the thread is not about some useless expired plastic.
  25. As far as I remember all Thai bank ATM cards had to be changed to new cards with 6 digit pin quite long ago. That was a full blown campaign incl reminders being shown on the ATM. How old is your card and what's the expiry date?
