Blue Peter Go Go Bar...?

A fella in Bangkok told me that John Leslie (ex Blue Peter presenter and Abi Titmus shagger) is owner manager of a go go bar on Soi Regee. Apparently next door to the PFC. I just figured the guy was full of it, but i now here from a guy that lives on Samui that this is indeed the rumour....?

Surely this must be billy bull? I would just about buy the idea of him fronting a go go bar cash wise, maybe to help a mate out, but running it also?

Any truth in this?

There is a gogo bar next to the pfc bar. Has all the usual, women outside trying to intice punters and a dark curtain behind the glass doors. Not sure how successful it will be as the G8 lounge appears to have closed and the lady bars in Cheweng are rather quiet. I thought samui was becoming more family orientated

He has stayed in Samui alot last year, stayed in a hotel in Fishermans village. The waterfront. I met him on a number of occasions and he did always mention he wanted a business here as nobody hassled him when he stayed here, but not sure whether a go-go bar was what he wanted. But if you think about if he has got the bar, with the publicity it would bring from him owning it it would be packed! also maybe a guest apperance from his famous EX Miss Titmus would boast popularity

After Mr Leslies was dragged through the courts on a rape charge (found completely not guilty BTW) i'm sure the last thing he would associate himself with would be the Thai sex trade.

I think you'll find the CPS dropped the charges...as in they didn't think there was a realistic chance of prosecution (it was a load of rubbish)...

He is indeed trying to make money "in property"...I believe he still rents out his place in Putney/Roehampton and is converting his place in Chiswick into flats...

Now...Is the GB Lounge shut or not?

So probably no truth to any of it then. It never fails to crack me up, the old 'samui whispers'. How the heck did I here from two people that dont know each other that John Leslie has a go go bar in Samui? Bar stool banter at its finest that. I googled 'john lesslie samui bar' and nothing came up apart from a story about being thrown out of the Gecko bar cos his mrs thrown a beer over DJ Lisa Loud, he he.

Yep, the whole rape charge thing was a clear stitch up. Poor bloke seems ok to me. That said, if he did own a go go bar in LOS i would be the first one down there with a digital camera, taking snaps of him arm in arm with some Isarn munchkin. The Sun/Daily Mirror would pay a cool 5000 pounds for that, lol.

I cant imagina GB lounge has closed - they earnt too much money and had sound connections. Prolly a refurb.

Bit of a celeb back in the UK. Previous childrens TV presenter, then cheesy housewife loving morning show presenter, then went off on one and had it large with champagne, hookers, coke and three way sex films with his mrs.... and got found out. Also accused of rape, but charges dropped.

Gb definatley closed not a refurb Samui can only handle so many go go bars. french guys own new go go bar, by far best built go go on the island but only 7-8 girls.

Gb is owned by same owner as 69 and dream girls, never got the impression it made stacks of money
