Take a really close look at the base of your bed for the tiniest of ants they are barely visible but leave a lot of good size bites somehow.

Spray around the bed with insect spray and lightly wipe down the mattress with a mixture of bleach and water every morning, that will help kill any crawlies on the surface

Am I right in saying you can transmit it through sharing bedding/duvets? A family friend had Scabies about 2 months ago, and I have been itching for about a month and developed the water-like bubbles or Welts about 2 weeks ago, is it possible that I could of caught it from that person (used the same duvet as them)?

very doubtful you have scabies. Scabies leave a small streaky scar but do not form bubbles from what I have seen, and i have seen people with scabies on a number of occasions.

I think you really need to see a doctor as you may have Hand, Foot and Mouth disease (HFMD). And no I don't mean like cattle get as it is a different virus that causes it in humans.

surely someone who has this kind of problem has enough sense to go visit a Medical Doctor instead of TV.
Trollpost I'd say.
And my take of the itching is an allergy.
Recommendation: Try a different GF or a different TV!

My wife always tells me to go see a doctor when I have some complaint, but what is a doctor going to do? Save it for a real emergency.

It's like calling the police if something has been stolen from you. What's the point. What are they going to do? Save it for a real emergency.

Why dont you go and see a Doctor ?

Keep away from Thai kwacks. Get some neem oil and rub that on.

You have done the right thing; virtually anything can be sorted on TVF

The Doctor will tell you what is wrong with you and give you some medicene to make you better

You might want to get checked out for scabies. I had it once in Europe, it's a mite that gets under the skin and is usually the most itchy at night. Clearing it up is easy enough, cover yourself with kalomine lotion before you go to bed, make sure you don't wear anything that hasn't been washed, and the problem is gone in a day. Very few people have ever heard of scabies, but it's easily transmitted from person to person (not necessarily sexually), or even from chairs, bedding etc.

I agree with all diagnoses ... and yet was thinking scabies from the description of insane itching. other bites are not like scabies. I had a raging case of scabies when I was 20 and will never forget the intensity and the way it spread so fast ... looking more like a rash but with bites to be sure.

bed bugs are fairly easy to diagnose from pictures on web - note the telltale line of bites for example

Well of course it's horses for courses. I you really have had a heart attack (must be a mild one 'cause you're still on TVF) can do a lot worse than eat (chew well first; not just swallow) 20 cloves of garlic every day for a week.

No thanks I was fortunate enough to have an education and I'll take my chances with science not the quackery you seem to spout so often.

The wifes uncle recently passed away from liver cancer (didn't drink).

Before he passed they went to the big temple in the city nearby and a monk blessed some neem solution for him.......it may have helped him mentally but did absolutely nothing for his condition.

Similar to our village. Liver desease - and kidney desease/cancers - are so common here.

Thanks to everyone for your contribution. Really appreciate it.

We have cleaned our mattress, and will most likely go to the pharmacy tomorrow - if problems continue then the Doctor it is.

You are not making any progress on your own. It is time to see a doctor or three. Really, this is damaging your life and the solution might come quickly if you can find a competent consultant.

I'd prefer them to ban the old farts who are just looking for a handbag fight every thread, sad really

Yeah I agree. It's like they want to own the place and as you say just look for an argument at every opportunity. Makes you wonder if they ever ventured out into the real world how they would cope.

The symptoms you have described are textbook prickly heat.  The tiny blisters are sweat building up behind blocked pores. I occasionally suffer below the knees and around the waist. The Thai person who shares my bed suffers no such symptoms and is untroubled.

A bit of a coincidence that both him and his girlfriend have the same symptoms?
