Closure of Vibhavadi Rangsit highway on Sept 16-17

BANGKOK: -- The State Railway of Thailand has announced the closure of in-bound and out-bound Vibhavadi Rangsit highway, including Bangkhen U-turn, during September 16-17 to pave way for the construction of the sky walk conneting Wat Samian Nari station with Thung Song Hong station of the Red Line elevated train.

 

The road running parallel to the Vibhavadi Rangsit and Bangkhen U-turn will be closed to traffic as of 10 pm on Saturday to 4 am on Sunday and on Sunday from 1.30 am to 2 am, the Vibhavadi Rangsit highway and all U-turns will be closed to all traffic.

 

Motorists are advised to use the local road close to the railway track to avoid being caught in traffic snarl.
