Ford Ranger toolkit

Featured Replies

Help, Just got a flat on my 2014 Ranger. Assumed the jack etc would be under back seat but the compartment underneath was empty. Either mt toolkit has been stolen or the the tools are stored elsewhere. Anyone got any ideas.

Any help appreciated

It is behind the rear seat backrest not the seat section, a pull cord is at the middle top to release the back rest

Madmax2 and Transam, you are stars. Yep behind back seat, simply pull the cord in the middle of the rear seat which allows back seat to fall forward revealing jack and other tools. I must be old fashioned - assumed they would be under rear seat. Hope this is useful to other Ranger owners.

Many thanks again guys - really appreciated.

Many thanks again to Madmax2 and Transam – this is an excellent case of the forum offering real positive advice to a fellow board member who is in trouble. Being stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat, two toddlers and no manual was a real bummer. The promptness, validity and constructive nature of your replies was invaluable.

Best wishes and I hope you both continue to help fellow board members in the future – your contributions are invaluable and appreciated

I have removed a inflammatory post and the resultant replies to it.

Here here, but unfortunately as with all fora there are infestations of folks who seem to take pleasure in ridiculing other members. This is the main reason why I rarely post - but I do enjoy the many positive contributions of others.

Cheers Transam.
