Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha will leave Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 11.50pm on Saturday for Washington Dulles International Airport for an official visit to the US.

Earlier, Prayut was scheduled to meet US President Trump on October 3 but the White House announced that the meeting had been moved forward one day.

If he's leaving at 11.50pm, does that mean all roads to the airport will be shut to us plebs for three hours?

Just a reminder. It's Sunday today and Prayut should long be on his way.

Also it might be possible that he had left from the military part of Don Mueang and been shuttled there by helicopter.

Maybe someone knows?

Will the frog whisperer bring his toad as an advisor? And will he exchange amulets with the self imposed savior of the so called "free world"? Maybe they are just discussing how to build a wall around Thailand with a single gate open to China and who should pay for it.

Good luck to Trump. I hope he sees Prayth for what he is - a usurper! The army were not happy so they took over. Sounds like the despots in Africa. And now he thinks he is a world ambassador - what a joke. He is incpable or running the army, let alone a country. Like the rest he us feathering his own nest and ensuring the army is well equipped for the next generation, although they will fight is a mystery!

Trump visits Asia for 11 days very soon but avoids Thailand but gets to places like Vietnam, so little p was summoned for a ticking off I expect. But all we will hear is how wonderful they got on and trade for Thailand to the US will increase and the balance of trade stacked in Thais favour will now increase as Mr Trump thinks we are fantastic upstanding world leading country.

Expect USA goods to come in tax free or up goes the prices in the states, like he just did to a UK company.
