How much does AIS charge for data without a data plan?

Anyone know? I don't like to buy a data plan because I only use data for VOIP calls (no web surfking) and want to buy daily plans when the internet goes down for maximum bang for the buck, I'm not sure if buying a daily would cancel say a 2 week  or monthly auto-renewing data plan.

The default price, for those without any sort of subscribed data plan, used to be time-based, and 1.07 baht/minute.

You should probably check with AIS to see what your specific default date is; it may be volume based, i.e. baht/MB.

Some plans are "one-time", others auto-renew for some period. Some plans have a hard-cap, others a soft-cap. Some plans offer unlimited 4G speeds, others capped rates like 384 or 512 Kbps (or 1 Mbps).

AIS/One-2-Call have a bazillion plans/promotions at any one time, and I'm not certain their English website can keep up? You can get a 100 MB/24 hour plan for as little as 9.63 baht.

(Note the "one-time", and "auto-renew" tabs.)

I think you can get more current options using the AIS app, or IVR (*777)? Often, in an AIS shop they will have the latest promotions in a tidy brochure.

I have unlimited Internet for a month as long as I have 800 baht or more in my account  AIS 1 2 Call

High & fast is how they charge! Buy a cheap plan and don't get ripped off. If purchase an auto renewal plan, can just call and tell them to cancel it. It will then work until the finish date, but not renew. Have done this many times. Much more convenient and economical than the high default price.

As posted in post No 4 there is a selection of short term plans available as an add on package.

You need to access your online account which can be done using the top right hand box on this page.

When you get to the next page you need to change the language to EN and enter the OTP.
