Is it noisy in your Condo now
My condo’s quieter than usual, as there’s a ban on non urgent maintenance during high season, so no drilling noise. There’s no obvious attempt to ban short term rentals in my building, not even any key card needed for entrance or lifts, but any short termers on my floor aren’t noisy. The place is far, far less noisy than my flat in Australia. Not as many young Russian ladies at the pool as last year, more’s the pity. -

When in Thailand, I don't need to "flaunt" my wealth. It is sufficient to present my immaculate muscular alabaster body to the locals, causing immediate admiration by everyone. That has nothing to do with the fact that my crutches are made of pure Gold. -

They do....to the best of their abilities. And they do a very good job, too. In fact, they do a great job, and are to be commended...I am sure about this. Note: Also, on TV, they do this job in a way that does not trod upon anyone's sensibilities...... It's a fine line, and a difficult row to hoe..... IMHO. Very few become offended by the mods here..... And this is the secret sauce of TV.....as all can see. NOTE4: Wow, I cannot believe this....I must be on a roll...today. This has never happened to me. I must have turned over a new leaf, in advance of this upcoming New Year Holiday. I am so pleased. I will continue to toe the line...... Johnny Cash..... Thanks guys... For making me so popular during the waning days of 2024. -

Where's Wes Opines on the pros and cons of moving to the Phillipines
I'm going there on Wednesday, Dec 25. Wish me luck. I may need it... Why there? A few very interesting gals, of course! I also have this curiosity when some say "Don't go there!" I have to go to check out why they said so.... PS. I'll arrive 7pm. Any cheap hotel to recommend within walking distance of MNL? Thanks! -

Good, that most posters live in Thailand, where one can "flaunt" wealth. Go to some central american countries, without body guards, you will be abducted in no time at all. For non-celebrities the ransom is usually around 1000$. Peanuts, doesen't make the "western press". So, be careful, where you "flaunt" your wealth.
