Hello everyone! I need to buy thick polystyrene blocks ("foam") in Chiang Mai. If somebody knows the shop or at least how I can find it, i will be really thankful. Google doesn't help in this case.

There was a time when you buy 8x4 sheets in 1 2 3 4inch thick at Global but no longer.

It is available bonded to plasterboard but only 30mm or so here.

Polystyrene/styrofoam is now more readily available at the bigger stationary stores but in much smaller sizes.

 

There was also a time when it was trendy to stick them all over your ceilings and I was wearing flares

This Shop has some although the pieces I saw looked to be about 6 - 8 ins thick.  Check it out on my map under Excellent Art Supplies Store.

This place has sheets up to 6 inches thick.

I’ve seen very thick sheets in China Town, maybe 8 - 12 inches. Sheets almost as large as a door.
