Some people in this forum sound like they are so heroic. Easy to be a Monday morning quaterback. Different story when your finger must pull the trigger with another barrel of a weapon pointing at you and the stark reality that if you don't react with precise accuracy you will be a dead hero. That's not how it works. Bad people are less likely to use a weapon against innocent people if there is a chance that someone can shoot them. Unfortunately, gun laws usually stop the good guys having a gun and are therefore defenceless against bad people who have no problem obtaining illegal weapons.
