If it rains hard tomorrow and Sukhumvit or the surrounding streets flood yet again, I'm sure you can go ahead and float your Loy Kratong things on the flood water 

Look for water and bridges. Loy Kratong is a National Holiday in Thailand.

Made the mistake of going there myself. What a f.king nighmare.  Most Thai people struggle to walk in a straight line when there is no one else around. Stick them in a crowd of thousands and you are well and truly rogered.
