Photography courses in Chaing Mai?

Featured Replies

As the title says, I wonder does anyone know of any photography courses that are run in Chiang Mai?

I have seen some in BKK, but the run over a period of weeks (1 day a week) so would be preferable to attend one where I live.. Any ideas?

What camera do you have and what are your photographic interests?

Shop carefully. My wife took a private photography course from a CMU instructor a few years ago. Group of about 10 students. It wasn't cheap. She told him to his face what a huge disappointment he and his course were.

Yeh my sister-in-law took one like that too.  The CMU instructor was an instructor of biology!

Have a look at this web site    photoworkshopsbykevinandpansa.com/

Take a look at the Chiang Mai Expats webpage. There is a subgroup focusing (pun intended) on photography. They would definitely be able to point you to available resources in Chiang Mai.

This guy taught photography. He had an ego like you could not believe. I sat in on one class for 30 min. If a student had a question, he would respond "today we will only be discussing shutter speeds, and no questions about anything else". In today's world where students have nice cameras and want to go out and shoot photos, there is no room for inflexibility like that.
