Myanmar migrant dies after being hit by car

By The Nation

A Myanmar man was killed and another injured when they were hit by a car while they were allegedly brawling on the road in Lampang province late Friday night.

Pol Major Pradit Thinson, inspector of the Khelang Nakhon Police Station in Muang district, said the accident happened a little past midnight on Saturday on the Lampang-Chiang Mai Road near the entrance to Ban Rai Khuang Pao village in Tambon Pong Saeng Thong.

Police said the identity of the deceased Myanmar man was not known yet as he did not carry any identification document. The other man, identified as Aow Chaw, 20, suffered injuries to his head and body and was rushed to Lampang Hospital.

The car driver, Apikrit Buamool, 27, told police that he and his friend were driving from Phrae province to a friend’s house in Chiang Mai when the accident occurred.

Apikrit said he saw the two teenagers brawling on the road island and they suddenly came to the middle of the road in front of his car so he could not slam the brakes in time.

Having “seen” the brawl on the road island, one would have thought that having to suddenly slam on the brakes, shouldn’t have been a requirement.

no forethought or planning on the drive deck.

No loss in the eyes of Thais They are aliens just like people from Europe Mayanmar people only here because Thais are to lazy to work on building sites cafes etc  Wont even be an enquiry  Brakes failed Accepted Case closed Next

The Thai call it fate. If he didn't come to Thailand the accident never would have happened.

So it did not occur  to  the driver to slow down, just incase

the fight ,spilled over into the road, which it did, this is unusual

as they always slow down passing accidents to gawk, but

not in this case,RIP, Burmese guy, contrary to believe, you were human.
