Official forecast from https://www.tmd.go.th/en/list_warning.php

Heavy downpours are likely in the East, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the South. People should beware of possible flash flood and strong winds.

Looking out on balcony at time of post and perfect clear sky currently

My sky is quite blue in places but there is still that thick smog/fog/whatever that has been around for several days. I can hardly see the sea at all, yet it is only yards away. Yesterday was worse: I could hardly see the ground below my balcony.

Certainly no sign of rain or storms though.

Rayong has just become very overcast the last hour. It's coming soon.

Yesterday was the first time you could see the Navy ships through whatever all that was

Thank you for the heads up to prepare for the weather ?

Hope it doesn,t spoil the ASEAN parade later this afternoon where the deputy PM will be in attendance,AND tomorrow the review of the fleet being conducted by the PM himself......:whistling:

Just 5 minutes after my last post 12.02 the rain has just started.....light at the moment though :sorry:

A lot of rumbling in the sky at Bangsare, brace yourself Pattaya, it's getting nearer.

I sincerely hope that the gals won't be wearing flimsy short white dresses.

Why? Thai ladies look lovely in short white dresses, that reveal their long lovely tanned legs.

Heavy thunder breaking out over central Pattaya now.......it,s getting nearer.....I WAS hoping to take a look at the Parade down on beach rd @16.30....think I,ll wait and see :whistling:

Hope the storms and rain finish this arvo so late this evening the weather is nice and fine for going outside ;)

Yes, - clean-up your act or the big guy will do the cleaning and everything will washout to the sea, and sink.

Did you go to church today? It is Sunday.

This is just wave #1. The second wave should be bigger.

I am so happy for all the officials who expected to show off in a parade !

Hopefully beach rd will be flooded (as usual) and the big wigs at City Hall are left with red faces.......:clap2:

easing a little now @ 15.50 and sky,s a little clearer but I,m guessing the parade has already been cancelled :sorry:

Nice. As long as it's all clear by tonight then that's cool :)

That must have bucketed down right at the time of the parade. Thunder lightening and rains were extensive

Not so. A bit wet to begin with, but flooding cleared as the parade progressed.
