Put some STP octane booster to try to ameliorate the preignition. I'm monitoring by ear but it seemed to do something on a long uphill ride. But it was cooler yesterday.

Next upping the injector from 130ml to 140ml.

Riding down the soi in Patty today

encountered a maybe 100-kg+ hairry black pig

trotting along

unaccompanied.

Can you elaborate papa, you've lost me.

Well, imagine riding along and seeing a big hairy black dog sauntering down the soi.

Same same except a swine.

I once had a COW go running past me.  I was doing about 20KPH.  He was doing at least 30.  One of those skinny India Braham type.   He was not full grown.  Probably a yearling or less and he was trailing a 40 foot rope off a halter.  He acted like he knew where he was going.  He passed me, took the bend of the road and I never saw him again.

Steering alignment adjustments today, had suspensions seals done and that was very good made the bike like new.

Annoying though if handlebars are not absolutely straight.

Zero fun riding in this smog. Have to wear a mask so I can breathe and so my eyes don't burn wearing goggles. Should have slayed at home and shut all the windows.

- Reassembled the engine on my project bike.

- Took the factory aluminium decorative cover off of the scooter fan cowl to see if that helps  the cooling before I install an air scoop.

For those of you who get burning eyes, I use 15 parts per million of colloidal silver sprayed into my eyes and the pain is gone in a few seconds.

I think I got a bit greedy with my tyre choice on the farm track project bike so will be going down a size both ends.

The front rubs on the fender under braking. So will put the front on the back and order a new front.

...and the front forks. Maybe I can find someone local to do that. My front tire looks bigger than that. I'll bow up the image and see if the size is there.

But maybe this has given me something to aim for. If someone else can do it so can I. I'll hawk the photo around town and see if anyone nods. Maybe it is simply Sonic forks?

It is the triple clamp top that will cause the grief.

Prolly could keep the existing guard,

just habit mounted high, as depicted.

That white one seems like it wouldn't

protect the engine much.

Went to a small motorbike shop near me. Out the back he had a Wave frame with CBR front forks.

He tried to tell me where they can do it for me but language was a problem???? . Nothing I cannot sort out.

There was a Wave on BahtSold that had the complete front end out of a KX85, so I would guess just anything would fit.

At 1:30min on the vid below he takes out a complete front end...I'm guessing it came from some place in Thailand. I watched his vids when I was considering doing the same.

Might be worth giving these guys a shout...

My front brake switch was not working. Not good on a CVT bike as it has to be activated to start.

So I took the switch of , dismantled it and gave it a clean. Cunning device. It is held in the off position normally against a spring. When the brake lever is pulled the tension on the spring is released and the contacts touch illuminating the brake light.
