I get the idea the OP has much to learn about Thai people, their culture and the potential market for his "unique" product, I wish him well regardless.

It seems that you have to learn more than the OP...

I perfectly trust him for being able to manage Thai and this business, unlike so many people posting on this forum who pretend to start a business.

In the same sentence you say that Thai would not buy in the street but then you say that they sell waffle IN THE STREET at Chiangmai... Maybe only tourists buy them, right ?

It seems that the OP has more chance to succeed any business than you...

And as you do not know his GF, you should not say that she won't succeed. It depends on his personality and he doesn't seem to be a buffalo unlike most people who open a business for their GF. No Thai girl that I helped to start business has ever been thinking that they didn't care because it was not their money. And the main reason is that they knew how I would be angry and what would be their punishment.

Night market in Chiang Mai is tourist area.

I don't know his GF but I apparently know more about farangs setting their GF up in business than you.

And the main reason is that they knew how I would be angry and what would be their punishment.

I wouldn't bet on a long or happy life for any farang ''punishing" Thai girls.

Are you the OP pretending to be someone else?

i cant argue with anyone that this business will success 100%. also thats the reason why i opened this thread. in my opinion, it has a good chance to success if the strategy has done perfectly. otherwise this is not a new invention or holy grail..

Open a business is always a risk. You need perfectly know your product. 1st made a business plan. 2nd analyze the market trends, you can work with http://roix.io to make this task easier. 3rd don't discount, add value. Also you can get  a coach. An outsider can make sure you are getting the numbers you need both on the top line and the bottom line to survive.
