That is the norm at that time. If you want to avoid the crowds you need to be there a lot earlier.

You're at the boat launch area.  Walk down a bit to where the swimming markers are set.  You can dip your feet in there.   But, you probably know that already.

Is this the queue to ferry smokers 5 miles offshore before lighting up.

Sorry HLover, I hope this is intended to be a facetious comment because I cannot understand why anyone would want to dip anything in the sea in the vicinity of Pattaya?

Didn't they move all that to the port?  Then move it back to the beach because of the boat parade, which is over.

They're probably going to the parachute ride. It gives a lot of locals jobs. So what, there's plenty of room for that and some falong wanting to look at the water. Stop bitching

OP mustn't have ever gone for a walk along Beach Rd early morning. I have numerous times after strolling out of the clubs after a night of clubbing. Chinese tourists are always lining up to get on the speedboats. Need to get out more my friend

It would help if the OP went to the swimming enclosures, which are well marked along the beach.
