Online car parts shopping

Featured Replies

WANTED... I need to buy a new or used part for a 2003 Honda Jazz. Its the automatic transmission shifter handle.. a plastic trigger style part with a torsion spring inside just broke today.

What online car parts sites do you recommend in Thailand or all SEA? Thanks

that is a specialist car part so i would think it will be a main dealer part only,  or 2nd hand/used online is hard to find here so i would think a trip is required, you don't say where you are. so chatuchak area in bangkok would be a good place to try,  or a breakers yard,  here is one in Bangkok - https://www.facebook.com/ประตูรถยนต์ถอดขายอุปกรณ์ทุกอย่าง-348172805277143/

These fools all use Face book (well most of them ) It astounds me how they stay in business

What does Honda want for a new one ? Same shifter used on many years ? Car is 15 years old, might not find online parts still supported.

the used car spares businesses are mostly walk up (or drive up) customers. These types of business also advertise on Kaidee.com.

Not sure why using social media to advertise a business online without any website admin or hosting costs would make anyone a fool, seems pretty smart to me!

I have bought a used car part before from a facebook seller, paid by bank transfer and he sent the part directly to the shop I used to fit it via EMS and it arrived a couple of days later.

This seems to be what the OP needs because he says location is 'southarn Thailand' so could not get to BKK where most of these business are located

The advantage of buying on Facebook is you can read other customers comments so can get a feel if the shop is reputable or not.

Look at the calendar - it is 2017. No one uses the telegraph anymore neither.

I have dealt with many companies - including most in Thailand - thru social media. Want up-to-the-minute reviews of customer service ? Hear of any problems with their products ? Contact the seller and expect an answer within an hour or two ? Social media is where modern companies - again, and especially, here in LOS - go to do their business.

You do not have to participate in all the rest of the content there - but for up-to-the-minute replies and feedback, it is the way of the future.

For those who do not know what stamps are - and who do not use email much at all. To slow, too much PITA, and so yesterday ...
