Thai Massage

Featured Replies

Hello Guys

I will be visiting Chiang Mai for the second time in 6 years next week.

What would be the best thing to do for 5 days

I am thinking of hiring a car and driving up to the Golden triangle is this any good ( where would I hire a cheep car from)

Also does anyone know of any good Thai massage places?

thanks

For a good massage try the small shop near Thapae Gate at the beginning of the soi that the original Gecko Books is on. It says "Message and Beauty" in black and white over the door.

There are three women there and they all do a good job.

Pai is very popular these days.

where and how far away is Pai?

What does one do there?

Also on the massage side how much should I expect to pay?

Thanks

Pai is about 1/2 way to Mae Hong Son and is just a laid back little town in the middle of lots of natural beauty with lots of farang food and little hippy shops. It is about 4 hours from Chiang Mai and very popular to just hang out of go treking or rafting.

A massage in Chiang Mai goes from about 100 to 250 an hour depending on the shop and the type (oil massage is usually more expensive). There are more expensive places, but they are usually a rip-off.
