I'm thinking about selling my two Mitsubishi air conditioning units, how much might I expect to sell for?

One is a Mitsubishi Mr.SLIM 13,000 BTU 4 years 4 months old, the other is a Mitsubishi Mr.SLIM 18,000 BTU 4 years 9 months old.

Both the fan units are in as new condition, both compressors are still very quiet and work like they did the day we bought them.

We only need one unit now so I was thinking of selling these two and getting something a little different for the one room.

What could I expect for them, together or separate?

The cost to take out & re install, re gas around 4,000 Bht each in a close area to you.

They loose about 50% of their value the day you turn on. You might get 2,000 Bht each for the compressor

units.

The condenser units will have little value

You should make a deal with the seller/installer  of the new a/c unit to buy them from you as as he has to already do the work of removing one of them...You won't get much because it is a big job to remove and pack it into his truck to resell + install it at another location.

Perhaps the best you can do is offer them free to someone... one of her relatives will arrange to take them out then! Otherwise why not keep them?

I'm with the above posters and a 5 year old A/C is well into its life.

But if you really want to sell them there's a few on Baht&Sold so you can get a price guide.

Thanks for your replies, yes I agree, almost 5 years old does seem quite old thinking about it, even though they're still pretty much as they were when we bought them.

When the time comes I'll ask the new a/c installers and possibly post an ad on classifieds to hedge my bets :)
