Hi. My daughter is now just over 2 months old and due her 1st vaccinations soon.

After visiting the local health centre I am none the wiser as to what vaccinations she will actually be getting.

Can anyone point me to a list of what vacs are essential for a newborn in Thailand as well as those that would be desirable too.

Thanks for reading.

These are the recommendations of the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society. The top chart are the vaccines currently required/provided free to children who are Thai nationals. The bottom chart includes some alternatives and some other vaccines not currently mandatory nor paid for under national health schemes though several of them are under consideration to be added e.g. rotavirus which will probably be added within the next few years (and is available on a fee basis at private hospitals). No discussion about including HIB yet bit there should be see http://www.nationmultimedia.com/national/Hib-vaccine-should-be-fifth-basic-shot-for-all-Tha-30284782.html
