Thai/UK Passport names different

Featured Replies

I'm booking flights for my family, who all have visas to Australia.

One of my kids' name is one letter different on her Thai/UK passports. Just her middle name.

Should I be concerned?

On the flight, would it be better to use the name on her Thai passport, then enter Australia with the UK passport(where the visa is)?

Book the ticket in the name of the passport which will be presented at your destination (Australia). If your return destination is Thailand, the airline will not mind if the names are different, they just need to be assured that the passenger is admissible to Thailand without an onward ticket, so show them both passports - but, of course, on arrival back in Thailand only show the Immigration Officer the Thai passport.
