The majority of people have experimented  with illegal drugs and are right to do so. I suspect you would have benefitted from various highs. 99% of people report overwhelming positive result from recreational drug use. They include all classes of people from all career backgrounds. The war on drugs is a war on the people that creates corrupt police, courts and penal systems and allows mafia to thrive.

Right.  The Thai police would never falsify a test report to shake down a foreigner.  They are also all well trained and skilled at administering these tests and could never misinterpret the results.  The BiB are far too professional and competent for that.

And is a business - a huge one.
