webfact
Teenager murders two men after drunken argument at "Friendship" restaurant in Nonthaburi Picture: Thai Rath A teenager viciously stabbed two men to death after clubbing them over the head in the car park of a restaurant in Nonthaburi. The murders followed an earlier disagreement in which two groups of five men on adjacent tables had argued with threats thereafter being made in the toilets. Bang Bua Thong police went to the Mitraphap (Friendship) restaurant in Bang Rak Pattana sub-district just after midnight on Tuesday. They found pools and droplets of blood - two men had been stabbed and rushed to hospital where they soon died. They were named as 20 year old Pichet Makobun a general worker from Suphanburi who had seven stab wounds and Phonrak Puanjai, 24, an electrician from Bang Bua Thong who had two abdominal stab wounds. Police immediately conducted searches in the vicinity and soon found Sarawut Naracha, 19 from Nakorn Sawan. He was holding a bloodstained knife and was very drunk. After interrogation he admitted that he was responsible but said that he acted alone. After the argument at the restaurant he said that he waited in the car park at closing time and when two of the party from the other table walked by he smashed them over the head with a club. He then repeatedly stabbed the men before leaving the scene. He has been charged with murder and detained. quandow
Most likely a stabbing over something completely insignificant. Children aren't allowed enough free time in school from preschool on to learn how to settle arguments in a civil fashion and as a result battles ensue between tech schools, murders over trivial matters are committed, machetes are brandished on highways. Just my opinion.

Denim
Whereas you could say that violent crimes , involving young men out drinking , happen in many countries , It does seem that the situation in Thailand is getting disproportionately worse. What might be settled with a bit of fisticuffs in the car park elsewhere, or the police intervening, here involves deadly weapons and police who always arrive after the event. Nah they don’t do that in Thailand! It has to be final! Death to the person who argued with me, or said something to my girlfriend, or any other trivial reason !Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
