Is water in a openened bottle for weeks OK?

Featured Replies

It's probably fine, it's not gone green.

But to be honest I would dump it (or use for pets or plants), it's not like there's a shortage and it's not exactly expensive.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

I would dump it, pop down to the nearest water machine and fill it for 6 or 7 baht or is that gonna break the bank ?

I have an old toothbrush and a half used tube of paste, I'm willing to test all three if you will bring me the bottle.

Are you serious? Half of 6 Ltrs bottle of water !!! At a vending machine, 3 Ltrs of water costs less than 2 Baht.  Certainly deserve the Cheap Charlie of the year award.

If i have a small bottle of water opened for a few days unrefrigirated

i always dump it.It smells like gasoline and it makes me wonder what

kind of poisons are leaking from the plastic into the water.

It is not about the money of course o.p. but i can see your concern.

Probably a whole bunch of contamination from leakage.

That why I use only glass bottles, there's already enough plastic about.
