Buying luggage bag in Bangkok

Featured Replies

I need to buy new luggage bag but the problem is that I need 32-34". I was searching online and only one I found was some samsonite that is too expensive for me. Other ones that were cheap had some pictures so I didn't like them (also probably not too good with less then 1000 thb price).

Do you know is there 32+ bag anywhere?

You don't say where you're staying, but you could try walking down the odd-numbered side of Sukhumvit, between Soi 3 and 19. Plenty of shops selling luggage.

The wheels will off and zippers busted before he gets to the airport.

It's OK if you plan just one or two trips

I have a medium size hard shell suitcase (with clips, not zip) that I bought at MBK about five or six years ago for 1500 Baht, and which has had plenty of rides on the luggage carousel, and doubtless has also been used in that favourite game of baggage handlers "Long Distance Suitcase Hurling".

It's still as good as new. I fully expect it to last another five years.
