Traffic Lights - Bangla & Ratuchit Rd

Featured Replies

Amazing how little regard for their lives so many stupid pedestrians have.

This new attempt to make it safer to cross a very busy road in Patong is ignored by hordes who are too impatient to wait 60 secs or so.

How there are not injuries all the time is only due to the skill of Thai drivers who manage to avoid these fools.

Last night in heavy rain and they were pushing kids in push chairs out in front of traffic when the vehicles had a green light.

One idiot Farang crossed against the light and abused a Tuk tuk driver who had a green light who nearly hit him. The Tuk tuk driver got out, chased him up Soi Sansabai and landed a few good punches. Hopefully knocked some sense into the idiot.

Pity he didn't deal to the two Chinese riding their hire bike up Ratuchit Rd the wrong way at 11pm last night.

Yes, often it's only the skill of Thai drivers that prevents foreigners from slaughtering themselves in even greater numbers on Thai roads!

And what's with riding the wrong way up a one way street, those sort of habits are best left in their home country, it's not tolerated here.

Luckily there's still some hero Tuk Tuk drivers around prepared to do their bit to maintain public safety!

Seriously, why the hell isn't there a pedestrian overpass between Bangla and Junk Ceylon?

Yup thought the same last week. Stupid vacationer with no sense for danger. Especially the chinese running or crossing roads like headless chicken.......horrible folks.

Plus Chao Fa East after the PTT, close to the short cut to Sakdidej Road. Plus next to Isuzu in Town, and probably quite a few more when you really start thinking.

There was one on Viset near the old Tesco. Still there?

What overpass?  I just see an elongated flag over a road.

There is an "underpass" at Bangla Road.  It's called, "the sewer pipe."
