I drove very fast and in and out of traffic to get to the hospital quickly. So sometimes it can be necessary to drive like this.

No situation gives anyone the right to drive in such a way to endanger other people's lives. Speed is one thing, dangerous driving as seen in this video is a completely different thing.

My wife does/ did. As long as the details are in English it's all good.

[Semantics] As the Thai License is in Thai Script it will need to be accompanied by an International Driving Permit which can be obtained from the DLT (after they have held a full license for a year).

This happens too often. The police aren't interested.

No money in it for them, no such thing as a fine for bad driving in Thailand
