Playing M3U IPTV files in VLC Player

I thought I would give this a try,but VLC player says it

cannot play the files,while i thought VLC could play

just about anything, anyone doing this successfully ?

I had the same issue with another format....VLC can play almost anything BUT not everything....

Yes, it works, just select open network stream and enter the m3u list address there. Not as good as other IPTV players on a PC tho so I seldom use it.

It works very well IF you have enough internet bandwidth to run it.

Usually, I do not.

working fine for me with VLC 2.2.1 Win XP ( cretinous Cretaceous Pro 64 )

A lot of the M3u8's you find on the net die very quickly others are too high bandwidth to be reliable.
