As she is not nude, why is her photo pixilated out??

Maybe 'shes' not really a she and she has a 'gun' in her pocket.  You know how Thai censors are.  <laughs>

“This kind of promotion prompted female baristas like me to be viewed negatively,” posted another Facebook user. “Now, foreigners perceive Thailand as brothels. Please have understanding for working people in the profession [when] you use this kind of bad promotion. Please understand how they will be perceived."

Thailand is not the hub of education, more the hub of Go- Go bars and open air bars. Foreigners only think about sex and prostitution when they hear the word Thai massage. How come? :shock1:

I find it demeaning.

Sure sex sells and I’m no prude, but there are plenty of places for it and this isn’t one of them.

Imagine if some hospital, in order to pull more customers from the competition, demanded that all the nurses wore a backless uniform and no bra…

Now fetch the tissues.

Is somebody watching too many "role play films?". This nurse on the photo was dismissed because she's too sexy.

Perhaps the government should hire her to pick up rubbish. If she inspires people to have coffee then perhaps she would inspire others to clean up after themselves. Just a thought

So, do you want to open a coffee shop or a brothel?" asked Facebook user Benyapa Rungkitsataporn.

Less competition in the coffee shop business Benyap Rungkitsataporn! Enough brothels around already for Thai men.

Or are you just jealous you don't have a figure like hers?

only jealous women

You must be talking of the rapidly growing 'army of the hopelessly obese'. See the bright side: good to know this country has no important issues to complain about.

I personally don't see the problem here, only jealous women berating a likely more attractive woman.

And as for commenting on what foreigners might think, i am pretty sure that most of the mongers who visit Thailand won't be frequenting coffee shops even on the most savage hangover days

More likely bemoaning the degeneration of her society...

Though I like to see a beautiful woman, I personally agree with the protesters. Why do you have to promote a coffeeshop with a nearly naked woman? Everything has to be related to nudity, sexuality? The same is for cars or motorbikes where they are presented on shows with young miniskirt wearing women... the cars would be enough for me, going for the coffee would be enough too, if the coffee is good and reasonable priced!

To me a coffeeshop is a place to relax, drink a coffee, read a book or talk to friends... not to be aroused by young women... I have that privilege at home already!
