  • I personally don't see the problem here, only jealous women berating a likely more attractive woman. And as for commenting on what foreigners might think, i am pretty sure that most of the monger

  • Just the puritanical killjoy squad getting all hung up about stuff. They complain about this woman serving coffee like this but Soi Cowboy, Nana and plenty of Pattaya are perfectly  fine....hypocrites

Just a bunch of hypocrites complaining. I'm not sure about Thai nudity laws.... But I don't think she has violated the law because she isn't nude. Scantily covered but definitely not nude.

I realise I must still be a lot more old school that I thought if I'm the only one to dislike this kind of situation.

If I want to drink a coffee I do not want to have it served by a girl half naked, I would find it kind of inappropriate.

 :sorry:

I kind of agree. I have visited six times in the past couple of days and I am pretty sure I will have to drop by at least a dozen more times before I would be able to say that I feel comfortable drinking coffee there on any sort of regular basis.

Personally, not my thing, but then again I see nothing wrong with it for the people who go for this type of visual adventurism.  Back in the day, I had Navy buddies who loved going to, for a lack of a better phrase, 'titty-bars.'  I'd go with them to just hang out with friends.  These guys would get all hot, and I'm like...why?  I saved my libido for places like Olongapo, Subic City, and Pattaya (back in the 80s).  If I just wanted to look at eye candy, going to Ocean Beach or Mission Beach in San Diego did the trick, and at least on the beach I could strike up a conversation with the gals.  Sometime that worked out quite well.  But just watching some gal pole dance - no turn on for me.  Having my latte served by a bare-breasted Barrisista?  That's a nothing-burger for me.  But for those who enjoy that sort of thing?  I don't see a problem.

Maybe 'shes' not really a she and she has a 'gun' in her pocket.  You know how Thai censors are.  <laughs>

Where is this coffee shop located in Sattahip, I'll be there for a beverage or 10, 55555

Just head south on Sukhumvit Highway 3 and tag yourself onto the back-end of this.

I find it demeaning.

Sure sex sells and I’m no prude, but there are plenty of places for it and this isn’t one of them.

Imagine if some hospital, in order to pull more customers from the competition, demanded that all the nurses wore a backless uniform and no bra…

Now fetch the tissues.

“This kind of promotion prompted female baristas like me to be viewed negatively,” posted another Facebook user. “Now, foreigners perceive Thailand as brothels. Please have understanding for working people in the profession [when] you use this kind of bad promotion. Please understand how they will be perceived."

Thailand is not the hub of education, more the hub of Go- Go bars and open air bars. Foreigners only think about sex and prostitution when they hear the word Thai massage. How come? :shock1:

Is somebody watching too many "role play films?". This nurse on the photo was dismissed because she's too sexy.

Good looking nurse.jpg

Perhaps the government should hire her to pick up rubbish. If she inspires people to have coffee then perhaps she would inspire others to clean up after themselves. Just a thought

The Coffee Shop has a Facebook page of it's own:

https://www.facebook.com/ninacoffeekaseampol/

(a few more pics can be found there for those of you that like "coffee")  :w00t:

The photos are really professional and the girl is almost as beautiful as my wife. :shock1:

So, do you want to open a coffee shop or a brothel?" asked Facebook user Benyapa Rungkitsataporn.

Less competition in the coffee shop business Benyap Rungkitsataporn! Enough brothels around already for Thai men.

Or are you just jealous you don't have a figure like hers?

Photos and paintings of Thai history regularly showed topless women. What's the problem, wowsers?

only jealous women

You must be talking of the rapidly growing 'army of the hopelessly obese'. See the bright side: good to know this country has no important issues to complain about.

And as for commenting on what foreigners might think, i am pretty sure that most of the mongers who visit Thailand won't be frequenting coffee shops even on the most savage hangover days

More likely bemoaning the degeneration of her society...

TV showing its usual attitude to women’s rights and respect. No wonder Harvey Weinstein and his ilk got away with it so long.

Though I like to see a beautiful woman, I personally agree with the protesters. Why do you have to promote a coffeeshop with a nearly naked woman? Everything has to be related to nudity, sexuality? The same is for cars or motorbikes where they are presented on shows with young miniskirt wearing women... the cars would be enough for me, going for the coffee would be enough too, if the coffee is good and reasonable priced!

To me a coffeeshop is a place to relax, drink a coffee, read a book or talk to friends... not to be aroused by young women... I have that privilege at home already!
