Hello,

I would appreciate if someone can help me.

One of my friend arrested when she was trying to leave Bangkok to Europe with fake European passport as someone sold her and told her she can go for trip to Europe .

She was trying to get to Europe for couple of weeks to see around. She is in very bad situation and so so devastated as she didn’t know what she is doing :-(. She is young and never done anything wrong before and she thought that passport is ok as she didn’t know anything about illegally things :-(.

She has her Iranian passport with her and she has valid Thai visa on her Iranian passport.

can you please someone help/ support how can we help to take her off the Detension centre and send her back to Iran as soon as possible. We don’t know what would be the fine or how long does she need to the jail ? Please someone help

kind regards

So she purchased a fake passport with the intention of using it to travel to a European country, hoping she she wouldn’t be caught.

There’s nobody on here who can help, she needs professional legal advice.

She needs to contact the Iranian Consulate who should point her in the right direction, they may even offer Consular support.

Hopefully the Thai authorities will have already notified her Consulate.

She’s committed a serious criminal offence and could well be facing some jail time.

I wish her well.

Well she certainly new it was illegal if she went to the trouble in the last sentence above

I’m going to close this thread, as has been previously advised your friend needs to get legal advice and seek support from Consular staff.
Posters on here are not qualified to give meaningful advice on Thai Immigration Law.
