Not sure if they've widened it in scope now, but the earlier Black Eagles operation of a few weeks ago was (very subtly) named for their round up foreigners of a certain skin colour.

Popular Post eggers
Very interesting report!!....didn't have to look far for evidence!!! At top of article, has ad for Visa service, offering Retirement Visa " No funds needed. No Visa No fee". Hmmm, maybe Thai Visa should review some it's advertisers!! Why? Are they a particular problem? I had thought it is primarily a dodge on the "seasoning" requirement. Yes, against the rules, but seems a bit tame as crimes go. Why do you find it a particular offense?

Followed up by crackdowns on other lawbreakers, like those who barfine women, smoke at the beach, feed the fish, drive too fast, settle up fines on the spot and... well, you get the idea. Pretty soon, none of us will be secure in staying here. How about sticking to the ones who scam, assault, and victimize others. And BTW, "irritate" doesn't count as "victimize". 4

How does that work? The 3 month lock-down period make it impractical just to "borrow" the 800K, unless of course they have an insider in the bank also. But, don't they request you to do a little 20 baht transaction the day u apply for the visa?

Strange you should only choose "Retirement Visas obtained from agents using fake bank accounts." Why not people working illegally in Thailand on Ed Visas, or people living illegally in Thailand on Tourist Visas, or visa exempts (although Immigration seem to be attempting to stop that.) I would have thought there are far more serious illegal things happening in the LOS!
