Everest Cold Air Upgrade Hose

Featured Replies

Applicable to BT50 and Ranger I guess...

There has been a topic in Facebook Ford Everest Club Australia about this hose ...guess it's probably more important there as they are often some distance from nowhere ... If the hose fails the engine stops ... even Ford told me life expectancy is about three years ... I carry a roll of wide tape in the car.

I have ordered ...well my son has I hope and he will bring it sometime ...info attached ...anyone wanting Dales e-mail just PM me  $A135 inc postage in Australia

Great tip.

Might be a good idea if you own a Ford to carry a spare one.

Makes one wonder why they didn't fit something with longevity built in in the first place..

Too true ... however you could say that about the battery ... breaking down in Thailand is bad enough but in the outback!... wherever that is ..

Bean counters ...

One caveat for the optional hose ... keep oil away from silicone hoses. No sprays containing it i.e. WD40 and the like. Will soften the hose.
