Amazing people,no, just as many dickheads there as here. ;amazing hobbies, can do anywhere, wipe social media, time and place for that, How old, Im mature, and you?. Loser, no, Ive got plenty of money, loving family back home, problems, no, just everyday challengers  that one has no matter where they lay their head.

Begs the Question why did you leave in the first place of life there is so fantastic?  Based on what you said I wouldn't have left if I was you. So where did it all go wrong ?

Its Thailand I am getting away from. And as a sideline, since ive been here, 4 people know , knew, well have been killed in traffic accidents, injured, countless. Back in Oz, not one of my friends has been killed , or injured in traffic accidents. And, i have many more friends and rellies there.

Ah. So you are leaving because of traffic. During my thirties I lost half a dozen buddies to murder, car crashes, ODs and suicide. It made me more determined than ever to enjoy a life of fun and adventure to the full. I hope your retirement to Australia works for you. Good luck

Well going by the law of averages I reckon you should make sure your "Will" is in order for your return....:whistling:

I used to go to Perth on business from Sydney regularly and then when I moved to Thailand I went there for visa runs when I needed them mainly due to the quick hop from Bangkok with Thai airlines.

A completely unremarkable dump sustained by the mining community so apart from being deathly boring it was insanely expensive. $10 for a schooner of beer (not a pint) and $200 for a 3-4 star hotel room and that was 10 years ago.!!!

What a stupid move. Within a month you will be back on social media but it will be Thai Visa to start your your career as yet another jaded international Thai basher. You know it ... we know it .

Perth

You said what I did not dare say.  Somebody once explained to me that Thai/Pattaya bashers we're usually.  'Postman Pat from Perth'

It's very relevant.  Issues of weather, welfare, medical support, law and order. freedom of rights etc. So where are you returning home to where you still have a family and a community? Why is it better? What makes you think you won't come back here. I may return to Europe one day when my libido finally dies but on my occasional returns home I have been bored senseless by the tedium of life, the expense, the politics and the weather was depressing. So where you plan to return to is very relevant.  You started the thread.

You have comprehension problems, I have already stated where i am going to, several times in fact.

"What makes you think you won't come back here."    What makes you think that something makes me think that. ?

Rather dumb question, as to think that the reasons I did something 15 years ago would still be applicable today. Nothing has gone wrong, its just been life playing out.

Perth has good beaches and clean city. A lot better than Pattaya. Beers cost less than $2 from a bottle shop. About the same as Thailand.
Except there are zip bar girls and the miners are paying $300./hour for an escort. Perth is one of the most expensive places on the planet.

I'm curious which bottle shop beer is cheeper than 7/11 beer here?

So farangs living in LOS are "bums".....Yet you were a "bum" for many years....

Your thread has become clear....You are one who must now face up to old age as it is affecting you...I am an ol' guy too with a totally different attitude at the moment, which may change, who knows..

Substantiate that remark about me being a thai basher, pattaya basher , or has to  many Chang eaten your feeble brain away.

Another with reading difficulties, I never said all farangs, stop making things up. Old age, I am happy to be over the hill and not under it.

Not dumb at all. You say Perth is fantastic so there must have been a good reason to leave. That hardly constitutes as a dumb question in my book.

You can choose to be impolite but I will stay calm and well mannered.
