What is nonsense is this discussion. England hasn't chosen the lion as a national symbol, the English football associations have. I assume that they are free to chose what ever logo they like. If they choose a symbol from England's history good for them. France it is a chicken. Plenty of beavers, I guess that is a euphemism. -
