Sanook reported that a Thai woman just home from work got a bad shock as she had a shower in her rented room in Samrong, Samut Prakarn.

As Benjamas Krairabiap, 26, prepared to wash away the grime of a Bangkok day yesterday eveing a snake poked its head out of her toilet bowl.

It was all she could do to grab her phone outside and photograph the critter before calling the snake catchers.

Animal welfare and Poh Teck Tung attended the bathroom in Samrong Neua Soi 21 but the snake was nowhere to be seen.

They even went as far as removing the squat toilet bowl from its pedestal to look underneath until it was finally determined after a half hour search.......that the snake had fled the scene.
