Electric & Water, will the suppliers be able to cope.

Featured Replies

One thing that worries me,will the Utility companies be able to cope with

water and electrical supplies now that the hot dry season is upon us.

I hope they are planning for the future with all the building work that is

going on around Chiang Mai,every Condo,Mooban, shophouse needs

electric and water, and as every one knows Thais are great at future

planning, which usually consists of springing into action when something

has already happened.

My electric supply has already been off twice this week, and it's not raining

or windy, yesterday I changed the water in my Koi pool, took 7 hours to refill,

as the water supply was just more than a trickle,I have two new neighbours

their houses should be finished in next couple months, the one opposite has

11 bathrooms, and swimming pool, the one next door has 6 bathrooms and

swimming pool, hope everyone does not flush at once !

So do you have confidence the utility companies will be able to supply future demands

regards worgeordie

In short , no !!

I have my own water supply, hopefully ground water does not dry up !

Am seriously looking into solar for at least some electric supply.
